One of Trumpās most common mannerisms is he makes a point, then turns his head (draws in another part of the crowd); imo, that turn resulted in the necessary millimeters that saved him from something a lot more serious.

Conspiracy has been part of Trumpās political journey ever since the beginning. Anything from big tech shaping narrative and lying about it to an impeachment designed to overthrow a fair election on ultimately demonstrably false pretenses. Maybe a little of a stretch but the recent court cases convicting him on āfraudā for very subjective and grey area tax valuation calculations to accusations of assault with zero evidence present, both in courts with observably politicized judges trying the cases by observably politicized DAs. Cautious suspicion probably should be par for the course, unfortunately.
