I enjoyed the scorched earth fuck the haters mentality of that speech. He wasn’t elected to play nice. First time the word “exterminate” was ever used in an inauguration.
I don’t think it was us versus them for other countries. Just “America First”. Also the “no room for prejudice” and “we all bleed red” comment was cool. I honestly believe that he isn’t a racist/bigot/homophobe/sexist. Hell he was a New York progressive democrat for years.
One thing. Don’t know how he can stay “anti-establishment” for 4-8 years. If he does act like a maverik and do his own thing this is going to be fun to watch. Making popcorn.

I’m pleased Trump knows how to salute. Every time I saw Obama do crap like salute with a coffee cup in his hand, it took all my will not to infiltrate security and punch him in the face.
Watched some clips from various news outlets, BBC News is actually the first clip I saw, couple of guys in hoodies and masks going through some big ol’ windows in the front of a shop. Sounds like the vast majority of the protesters have been peaceful, but there have been a couple groups, present both last night and today, that have been downright ornery.
Edit: Just checked up on em, looks like around 100 were arrested for vandalism and destruction of property.

Who spends years trying to prove Obama wasn’t born in the uS, calls him the founder of ISIS and the worst president ever. Yet when he meets him is very cordial and quite complimentary of him.
If you knew a guy who did that what would you think of him? Hopefully you’d think he’s a little bitch who talks tough until he’s face to face.
I was watching some of those shortly after the swearing in ceremony. I just don’t see any sense in that, unless they want a guaranteed ass beating by riot police.
