Trump and Roe V. Wade

So solid it can’t be argued against. /sarcasm

I think this is a hope based exaggeration. The worst thing that could happen to the right is getting all that they want because people will end up seeing more clearly what they don’t have.

Interesting.

Can you expand on this, @zecarlo? I am not quite seeing the point you are making.

These states have a lot of poor people. Education is not as good as it is in “libtard” states. So you have poorer and less educated people worrying about abortion, guns, gay marriage, etc. When none of those issues will really affect their daily lives. They won’t educate their children better so they can not only compete with kids from more affluent states or even with the children of immigrants. They are being left behind. These are the people who worry the most about (uneducated, illiterate) illegals taking their jobs. An illegal can’t compete with me in the job market and he won’t compete with my child when she is old enough to seek a career.

I work with a lot of Muslim kids who came here as refugees and as legal immigrants. Their parents have only one concern and it’s that they all go to college and become doctors or engineers. They will surpass native born kids from these poor states that prioritize things like abortion over education.

So once these issues are settled in a way that pleases them, what’s next? They can focus their attention on how they are poor and not just out of work because of Mexicans but because they lack the skills to compete in a modern job market. What will the politicians offer them once they wake up?

Alabama can outlaw abortion all it wants but it’s still Alabama.

Thanks, @zecarlo.

Interesting perspective.

I suppose history is littered with Politicians, Kings, Potentates, Rulers, Despots and Supreme Leaders who have been very good at appeasing the poor with promises of Treasure and/or Glory…while never significantly changing their Lives…and in some cases making them worse.

This 100%.

Educated women who are pro choice or want an abortion will leave the state, will find medical procedures and employment elsewhere.

These southern states will see more poor, unwanted children born that the inhabitants of such states will be forced to support.

Every state has a lot of poor people. Georgia is very far from being a ‘poor state’.

I believe someone once posted which states get the most welfare.

And isn’t Georgia having an issue now with regard to its film industry thanks to conservatives?

They’ll just get even more federal aid, which might be the point.

Huh? It’s in the top 10*. The top 10 is filled with states from the south. The same ones pushing this stuff while being really bad places to raise kids.

Different metrics will get you different results but almost all metrics land Georgia around the 40-43 range as farthest from the best.

We should all quit posting and get second jobs. These red states that already get the most federal aid are going to need a lot more money when they add more unwanted children.

But socialism can go suck a maga dick.

Fine. A bunch of dumb, poor hicks are out smarting a bunch of smart, rich elites.

Yeah, I’m sure those rich people feel pretty stupid.

I personally think that painting any state with a broad, stereotypical brush is the type of thing; that I’ve mentioned before; will get us four more years of Trump’s bullshit.

All those poor stupid Alabaman babies that’ll live. The inhumanity of it! An educated individual might accidentally drive through a neighborhood where several of them live out their lives.

It’s even better because in Alabama rapists can get parental rights. So now you can rape a woman to feel power over her, know she can’t do anything about it when pregnant, then potentially get parental rights when she is forced to birth the baby.

That’s a triple win for rapists. Oh shit but some studies show that women who are raped are twice as likely to get pregnant. Quadruple raping victory.

I tell you this 11 year old who was raped multiple times should definitely be forced to carry that baby. It would be inhumane to suggest otherwise.

It’s not socialist to give billions in payments to farmers. Now health care for all these kids? That’s socialism.

Not if you say maga after.

It’s not stereotypying, it’s facts. Those states have more poverty and receive more federal funds. An abortion ban won’t change that for the better.
