It’s the same with an absolute ban on abortion. Ask any father in Alabama if he would be against his daughter aborting the fetus that was the result of rape or incest.
Am I alone in thinking a better than 50% chance exists that Trump has paid for a woman to get an abortion in his life? Like just about everything else he flip flopped once he decided to run as a Republican. You gotta know the multi divorced, hush money to porn stars paying, sexual assault guy ponied up for at least one.
It would not surprise me if he did, but I have also not seen evidence that he has had one either.

You need to reread. I said that the same life that will otherwise demonstrate personhood is already living in the womb. Your life started in the womb. Do you actually deny that?
One fertilized egg can become multiple people down the road. That is how twins happen. So to say a fertilized egg is an individual person is not always true.
You’re pointing out two individual human lives from one, in the case of twins, doesn’t change the strength of my argument. It serves only to double the body count.
Are you also trying to figure out how people support laws that prohibit murdering the homeless, while not spending their lives volunteering in homeless shelters?

I would not characterize splitting into multiple organisms as one of the defining characteristics of what we would call a person. I think those would be thought of as exclusive of each other.
I didn’t know we had the ignore feature here, but l certainly welcomed finding it on settings.
I don’t believe this is a good comparison. Do a lot of people exist that march and demonstrate about something that would increase the amount of homeless people? If so do these same people fight against actions or say they won’t stand for any tax increase that may help the homeless live better lives?
Of course not all pro-life people are like this but many of these states are rooted in people who have serious disdain for people on welfare, food stamps, etc. They will call them welfare queens, lazy, worthless, etc. They are the worst states to raise kids in for education and health care.
All I’m saying is maybe it’s time for some of these people to be just as focused on improving quality of life for these kids as they are for them being born.
Just the way I see it I’m not even using it as saying abortion should be legal. More ok people that fight against programs and money to help kids. What’s your plan for when we get a bunch more kids

You are the same organism from the womb. Simply a different stage in your own individual life cycle. Had I killed you at any stage, I would have killed you. Not a threat, to be clear. Making a point about the already existing life cycle of an organism.

So in the case of twins, they are the same person? the organism that started in the womb is now two things.
They did some gruesome experiments in the late 30s and 40s in Germany, that do not support that twins are the same person.

It’s simply a straightforward question about when your life as an organism began.
I am not sure TBH. I think embryos can also merge so that two become one, or split so that one becomes two. I would not be able to tell if I was merged with another at some point in development.
