Different Carlins for sure, although Iâm a huge fan of both of their artistic output. Dan Carlinâs Hardcore History is a great podcast, but heâs remarkably dense about current events. He doesnât seem to realize that Hegseth and guys like him arenât speaking to guys like Dan, and frankly donât care what guys like Dan think.

It is hard to explain the vast amount of social pressure there is to go along with ALL OF WOKE, especially if you want to keep your job in certain industries. Itâs really quite clever when you think about all of the massive scams that it makes possible. One of Lewistonâs most prolific public commenters goes on and on about how racist Lewiston is. Sheâs spoken at the last few city council meetings and the last school committee meeting. She shamelessly accepted mass shooting donations and her mom just got busted by the feds in a multi-million dollar EBT fraud scam, yet she still has no problem playing the victim and asking for more. No shame whatsoever. And why should she, after decades of being treated as an unassailable victim group with woke white women bending over backwards for her? Itâs obviously a winning formula for her, and even after all of the scammery has come to light it still seems to be a winning formula.
I can only speculate about the social pressure within the Somali and broader immigrant communities. ALL of their âcommunity leadersâ in Lewiston are deeply intertwined with shady nonprofits, Democratic Party leadership, demonstrably fraudulent healthcare companies (Gateway Community Services being the most well-documented), and the last guy to serve on the school board and city council is under indictment for firearms theft charges, was credibly accused of Al-Shabab affiliation, and claimed to live in a condemned meth house during his campaign.
Calling all of the regular people who have a problem with that âracistâ is still the go-to, even after all thatâs come to light. It is still one of the worst things you can be called if youâre woke white liberal and they will bend every word and thought to avoid accusations of it.
