It sucks that they’re getting that reputation. Minnesota has a lot of great people, just like California, New York, illinois and other blue strongholds. Most of them are run by one big blue city that control the politics for the other millions in the state.
I, for one, would absolutely love to see an experiment where blue states and red states are allowed to fully run themselves for 10 years or so, just to see.
You’d need to build some sturdy border walls, employ lots of gunmen to guard them, and find other creative legal mechanisms to prevent misinformed fascists from attempting to flee your benevolent rule.
