I feel like after the signalgate lawsuit they would be pretty confident in this case.
Not to mention Patel’s lawyer has a pretty bad track record even though he is a MAGA fanboy.

The signalgate lawsuit is fundamentally different. In that case, a government watchdog group is suing members of the government (Hegseth, Gabbard, a few others) and whatever the records-keeping agency is named, alleging they failed to adhere to records-keeping regulations.
It had nothing to do with defamation, false reporting, or anything like that. Patel’s lawsuit is similar to the ones filed by Trump against media outlets for “fake news”, a few of which he’s won.
It’s also similar to the Covington Catholic lawsuit, where CNN was continuing to inform it’s readers that the boys were mocking and harassing the poor Native American man who, it turns out, was obviously trying to provoke a reaction from the group of schoolchildren. The kids were just standing there waiting for the bus, then they became national news, received death threats, were doxxed, and harassed for months because CNN made its gullible audience believe that the boy in the MAGA hat was mocking and harassing the grown man who waltzed up to them and began banging a drum in their faces with no explanation.
I actually watched the whole video and started a thread on that one.
You’re right, my mistake.
I was referring to when the original story broke, the people involved claimed it was false and threatened to sue, then a second story was published with more details they had held back in the original.
Well, no lawsuits were filed in that case because the reporting was well-supported with facts. They definitely were communicating via signal and definitely included a reporter on the chat somehow. Whether or not they are in breach of regulations is what the lawsuit will settle.
Regarding media narratives and lawsuits, there is a major effort in Maine to undermine the only conservative-leaning outlet currently operating in Maine; The Maine Wire. Just yesterday their reporters were shut out of a Graham Platner event, which happens often. Numerous op-eds have been written by Maine’s largest newspaper (owned by a Soros nonprofit) accusing them of being racist, exposing that part of their funding comes from a guy named Leonard Leo, accusing them of targeting Somalis in particular, so on and so forth, typical Democrat lines of attack for the last decade or two. Prominent political activists often comment similar things on the stories they run, including some of Maine’s final bosses of the woke white women army.
Nobody’s sued them yet, because their reporting is usually pretty well-supported, especially when they are actually running bombshell stories that paint the Democratic Party in a poor light. That’s not particularly difficult to do in Maine. The hard part is getting the FOAA requests processed, where the state often charges exorbitant fees for records requests, especially large sets of data.
They present a real problem for Maine Democrats and their media apparatus because none of the “mainstream” outlets report on many of the stories The Maine Wire does. They have been paid millions of dollars in “marketing” by The State of Maine since Mills took office in 2019, so I don’t think the difference in what is considered newsworthy is a matter of different journalistic standards. They are a vital part of crafting public opinion, which is one of the reasons Lewiston’s Sun Journal stopped printing the arrest logs years ago. A friend of mine FOAA’s the booking log from the county jail nightly and posts it publicly. It’s not the same thing as the arrest log, which can’t be FOAA’d as easily, but it’s at least somewhat close.
Anyone that fuel prices / inflation affects in a legitimate and real way - personal finance wise.
Definitely affects my budget and I make a little into the 6 figures - not my boss so much.
File this one under shocking but unsurprising. An NGO captured by leftist radicals funds white supremacist groups so they can get grants and donations to fight the groups they fund.
After watching “harm reduction” NGO’s operate, this isn’t surprising at all. If the problem goes away, so does their funding.
This also plays into other grifts like Black Lives Matter and the broader narrative of white supremacists being the #1 domestic terror threat while BLM riots were getting people killed, plus torching and looting billions of dollars worth of property.
The demand far outweighs the supply.
It’s looking like they actually funded the “Unite the Right” rally at Charlottesville during Trump’s first term. That ended up producing the media hoax of “Fine people on both sides” that was taken entirely out of context in an extremely brazen manner, repeated across all of media to paint Trump as a white supremacist sympathizer, and still gets repeated to this very day as evidence of Trump’s white supremacy.
It’s like a Scooby Doo moment where we learn that the SPLC has been the hate group the entire time. We knew they were socialist revolutionaries already, but this makes ANTIFA street thuggery look like child’s play.
Here’s Biden explaining that he ran for President because of what he saw in Charlottesville, which we are now learning was funded by the SPLC.
The American people are victims of an unbelievable amount of treachery and sophisticated manipulation.
No wonder Trump has been compared to Hitler.
I have a theory that Trump likes McDonald’s because of the Donald part.
It’s because of the very fine beef patties on both sides of the Big Mac’s extra bun.
A tree cant outgrow its roots
Speaking of…
His dad was Nazi villian from scooby doo. If you are inbred enough to take offense also, you can talk to Mr. Garand, like the originals.
@fuzzyfella Now you’ve shared the secret scrolls of Trump’s porcine nature, I take back everything I’ve written in the last several years. If only we could have had Kamala Harris as President, we might have been unburdened by what has been.
You trump people are awfully obsessed with a woman nobody has supported for literal years. Move on, like you should’ve done with diapered fiddler.
Praise Allah, happy Easter

No really, your guy said that
Ghey.
Go piss up a rope, dipshit. You’re too stupid to offend me, but smart enough to have good taste in firearms when you’re threatening to shoot people over the internet.
That seemed obvious in 2019 when Trump had McDonalds delivered for Clemson’s football team when they visited the White House.
Oh look. Another weird gooner that wants our attention.
I’m shocked and offended by his shocking and offensive post.
So do i…my budget is affected too but not enough to worry about it..i learned that sometimes you cut back on a few expenses or eliminate my own waste
