I think the thread title needs to be changed from Trump to Musk.
We went from a senile old man to an autistic nerd in the White House. This won’t end well for Republicans. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I predict it will work just fine for the American people. The idea that someone like Musk is unqualified for working in the government is laughable to me, having worked in the government.

Well, he has a track record of success that most government bureaucrats don’t. A bull in the China shop sounds good to me.
He would surely have caused great distress in the ERP implementation project I worked on for State of Maine. With a guy like that asking a bunch of questions the team might never have been able to piss through 42 million dollars and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

One could argue that they are successful with regard to what is expected from them. The same with politicians. We can say they are terrible and shouldn’t be in office, yet they are, why? Because of people like Musk who financially support them and their campaigns. So Musk can talk about belt tightening and how Americans will have to suffer a little because of what politicians have created on behalf of billionaires, bankers and corporations while he, and those other influential individuals, won’t be sharing in that suffering which they are ultimately responsible for. The bull in the china shop is great, unless it’s your china.
I’m sure you could find the words to spin that project and other expenditures like it as a success.
Who knows, maybe this will be the first time you will be right in your predictions about Trump. I predict your prediction will fail to materialize, as have all of your other predictions about him over the years.
I predicted he would lose the reelection. Other than that, I haven’t kept score, unlike you for some weird, semi gay, reason. But I would like to see these failed predictions just to refresh my memory. I did predict we would build a wall and Mexico would pay for it, so I was right about that.
Edit: the first run at reelection against Biden. So I was right about that.
It’s not hard to keep score when you keep being wrong in nearly every take you’ve offered. The consistent disdain you’ve shown for Trump and his supporters is easy to see with a simple search of your name and the word “Trump”.
Here’s a good one. Now that we’ve all gotten to experience the Biden economy, I’d say that there’s a pretty good case for most Americans that they were better off under Trump. A walk outside my house or a trip to Youtube to watch a local school board meeting confirms this for me without any additional research.
Well, though it’s a bit creepy that you do things like that, I would like to see these posts from me. I would also like to see, since you are so invested in my opinions, all of the great things I’ve said about Biden, Harris and Obama.

It was a joke; I really don’t consider you anything more than a random person on the internet with genuine concerns about life and the future. You just take things too personally. I posted an opinion about Musk and you went into stalker mode. I don’t hate Musk. There are things we can admire about him. But he is not equipped for politics as it requires a skill set he lacks.
Does he lack dishonesty, heartlessness, overconfidence, or the ability to be manipulated? I don’t think all that highly of him either, but I’m trying to figure out what skill set he lacks that Kamalalalabidenbama has.

This now seems to be the popular position of the “cool kids”. And it’s laughable.
The only bad thing you can say about Musk overall is that he would dump his mom overboard if it meant he could send a manned mission to Mars in his lifetime.
As Musk himself has admitted about some of the bad things/choices/decisions he has made -(paraphrase) yes, those things make me look like a bad person, but overall if you look at the entirety of what I’ve done/contributed, I come out looking pretty good.
After some random person criticizes Musk on the interwebz, I think it should be a rule that said random person lists their accomplishments to mankind, if any, LOL.
