Substitute Charlie Kirk’s name with Martin Luther King JR when watching/listening to people’s reactions to the murder. Then you’ll know if you’re dealing with a sane person or not.

How so? How was their basic message different?

Not comparing the men in particular, or their work. But if you would say “Charlie kirk was asking for it,” or “He reaped what he sowed” Then you have to believe the same thing about MLK jr. Neither did anything that warranted their killing.

Or did he just have a consistent, Conservative point of view, and people asked him a lot of “Gotcha” questions?

I never considered him extreme…but i considered him to have conservative views with the appetite to engage in friendly debate with college kids with different points of view

This seems to be galvanizing the Right, but it also seems to be swinging a lot of moderate Democrats and Independents. Not just the murder, but the far left’s celebration of it. No sane person wants to be associated with that.

That might depend on the listener. Our country has a significant number of our population that hates Israel. Charlie Kirk was a Bible believing Christian who loved Israel. He would be on the “radar” of quite a few people.

Yeah there’s no way that guy was a true Christian.
He seemed pretty genuine in his faith to me.
And there are many differences between him and MLK, especially in specific policies and political ideology, but they shared a lot of the important core ideas of basic human rights.
I’m not seeing it. I think he lived a life based of pride rather than Jesus.
