Couple years ago Russian planes in our airspace was almost monthly occasion.
There’s a saying here: if there’s softness, Russia will push forward until it feels the hardness of steel.

I don’t think it is a stretch at all. It is certainly something Ukraine or someone else could pull off. Just like the supposed Russian missile fired at Poland a few years ago.
I mean, Russia does have a history of invading Poland, but that was only because they made buddies with Hitler in 1939. They sure dragged their feet getting into that fight, letting the Wehrmacht do most of the work. Then they invaded Poland again a few years later before subjecting them to the scam of communism for a few decades.
Everything I can see tells me Ukraine wants nothing more than to drag all of NATO into this war, and a whole lot of other people in The Blob want that, too. At any rate Poland, invoked Article 4, which seems reasonable at the moment.
I’m fairly confident this won’t trigger Article 5.

Huh? You seem pretty well read on your history. The Soviets definitely made buddies with Hitler and invaded Poland as part of the pact you mentioned. The Nazis did most of the fighting, too, with the Soviets waiting almost a week before they did their part from the east. What part wasn’t true?

The missile was definitely a Ukrainian fuck up, but that didn’t stop Zelensky from blaming Russia right away. Russia launching a missile at Poland makes just as much sense as Russia launching drones at Poland. This isn’t peacetime shenanigans and provocations, but the middle of an active war.

This isn’t a typical situation in war due to Poland being in NATO. Zelensky has already demonstrated he will lie in an effort to get Article 5 invoked. That’s an outcome a lot of forces seem to be pushing for, especially among Democrats here. Lewiston’s Mayor wore a Ukraine flag to the “No Kings” protest where he took selfies with people who call their neighbors “Nazis”.
There is also significant internal strife in a lot of NATO countries right now over the international blob’s policies of mass migration. What better time to start WWIII?
I still doubt it. Most people understand that even limited WWIII would take us back centuries and kill hundreds of millions (in best case scenario), and full blown world war would end civilization as we know it and kill majority of worlds population.
There would be no men who profit, since all money based economies would collapse.
Only if it goes nuclear. If not, it will be just like all the other wars and a long list of powerful and connected people will become fabulously wealthy.
Enemies of western civilization will also benefit from Europeans slaughtering each other. Again.

There’s differences in ”normal wars” too. Major conflict between major powers would be devastating.
Other problem with wars is that they are not something you can control easily. You can start a war, ending it is not so easy. And wars escalate to other wars. Also, world war can turn in to nuclear war very fast.
So yes. There’s always people who gain from war. But most people won’t, even when talking about elite.

Maybe the drones were just Russian fuck up. Apparently there were drones also in Belarus.

No way Ukraine could risk that at this point. It won’t take long to for us to verify where the drones came from.
Lots of possibilities. It could be a Russian probe meant to be just below an Article 5 situation. Could be a fuck up. Could be a fake flag attempt.
