Perhaps, but the problem for the public is the lack of supporting evidence for either theory. I think there is more to 9/11 in terms of questionable circumstances.
While true that Roosevelt certainly knew a Japanese attack was a possibility, the only circumstantial evidence I can think of that Pearl Harbor was allowed to happen was the lack of torpedo netting.
The embargoes we imposed on Japan were entirely reasonable given their invasion of China. Their broader Pacific campaign also made sense given the conquest of so many European colonial powers by Germany, leaving places like the Dutch East Indies and their oil open for the taking.
Many things can be true at once, and we the public are always kept in the dark as much as possible.

The point of the line in the declaration is that these rights come from our creator, thus we are going to enshrine them in the laws.
But ultimately the country is run by the laws, and any particular right can absolutely be done away with by a law. One can argue that “my creator endowed me with that right!” all they want in front of a judge, but if it aint on the books it doesnt hold any weight.
And really, any other group of men could have said any other group of “rights” are the ones granted to them by their creator. Its all a bit arbitrary. Im sure theres people in other countries who think its their God given right to rape babies to get rid of their HIV…
We have the “right” to bear arms, but that can be taken away. We have the “right” to due process, unless they say we dont. Every “right” in the constitution can absolutely be done away with by man.

I was talking about Cruz understanding the foundation of our governemnt and having read the Jefferson Bible. But no one said our rights came from Jesus, so I don’t get what point you were trying to make.

Human and civil rights are indeed at least indirectly related to Christianity. Consept of human value was firstly introduced in the west in New testament.
But human/civil rights got properly applied almost 2000 years later, during enlightenment. Sadly the legacy of enlightenment has been dying rapidly for a while now.
