For @twojarslave!!!
I think DEI issues are the loudest conversation points, but this was an economic election.
More economic information in the link. It’s an analysis of where Biden went wrong and ultimately screwed Harris. Lots of math but it’s written in a way the logic carries without diving in to it.
It’s interesting. I personally think the author puts a little too much in to Covid, but agree with the gist.
Fcuk, I think I’m getting brainwashed…because I’m buying this hook, line, and sinker (from Charlie Kirk):
"Former Obama CIA director John Brennan says Tulsi Gabbard “doesn’t have the right perspective” to be Director of National Intelligence.
So let’s remind people:
-John Brennan voted for the Communist presidential candidate when in college.
-John Brennan lied under oath to the Senate about the CIA spying on Senate staffers.
-John Brennan lied to the public about Obama’s drone war, claiming they never killed any civilians when he knew (and it was obvious) that this was false.
-John Brennan helped get the Russia collusion hoax off the ground, and lied that it was “well-founded” and based on real evidence.
-John Brennan lied that the Hunter Biden laptop was fake and was “Russian disinfo.”
John Brennan is the exact sort of lifelong Washington D.C. parasite who must be stamped out. He’s a dishonest, authoritarian pig who thinks he has the right to lie to the American people at will and either ignore or rig the results of our elections. He belongs in a prison cell."
He looks like Mr. Hanky babbling at people about racist.
He has never been relevant in my lifetime. Just a race baiting clown.
I’d say so, because not believing Brennan looks to be about even with not trusting The Science™️.
I might be reading the whole situation all wrong, but this is all looking to me like a long-running grift that’s about to be up.
I’m not sure what new grift will emerge, and I’m sure there will be one, but I think we might have miraculously avoided a very, very grim future.
Who knows what would have happened if they could have kept pumping people in as lawbreakers, signing them up for benefits, and letting them vote right away? Along with EVERYTHING else. If someone doesn’t think that was the plan all along, I’m not sure what I can tell you at this point except to come visit Lewiston.
Between importing new voters at taxpayer expense and plain old lies and manipulation, I think we just dodged a de facto one-party state bullet. I’m not sure how close it actually passed to us, but we were being shot at. They sure came close.
Now, to stamp it out as well as it can be.
Based ! Those institutions are turning out tone deaf, self-righteous scum
Agree about the future, and you got my gears turning about the new grift.
So, the old grift was- get white people feeling very guilty and sorry about existing, then give everything to special interests (unicorns, butterflies brown people). This built progressively to the great replacement strategy, where it crumbled under the weight of inflation, over regulation of everything, and vast underestimation of brown peoples values and intelligence.
So now what? Hillary and Kamala burned the mega donors for billions with no roi. Joe shook hands and smiled with Trump, leaving many hurt and confused. MSM is almost dead, and talking heads are on the chopping block.
I don’t see anywhere for Dems to turn.
I started entertaining the idea last night in a conversation with my wife that Kamala may have inadvertently dealt a deathblow to the Democrats by burning the donors who provide the lifeblood to the party. Without that green flowing, the chanters don’t chant and the talking heads don’t talk.
On the other hand, Trump very successfully incorporated a big piece of the middle/left into the Republican party.
He had freakin steel workers, coal miners, gas workers, and the math dept. from CMU dancing to the YMCA.
This is a hard prediction for me to make because I don’t see anywhere for them to go now without really, and I mean REALLY upsetting the base they’ve created for themselves.
Case-in-point. I heard on a podcast that Kamala was willing to do Joe Rogan on Rogan’s terms (which I’m not quite ready to believe), but too many of her key campaign people were threatening to walk off the job if she did.
That’s what happens when you employ ideological loyalists who actually believe what you’re telling them is true. The same thing has been happening everywhere in the corporate world too. These people are completely ready to die on ridiculous hills, which is a problem for any organization.
Democrats are looking an awful lot like the 1999 Chicago Bulls right now. There are no stars in the mix and not a ton of fans sticking around after taking us all on a really wild ride for the previous 15 years.
You can’t really compare Obama to Jordan, but he probably is the greatest actor ever to succeed in modern politics. No GOAT title for him, though.
I think you’re going to see Democrat party leadership rather quickly distance themselves from woke, just like they did open racism in the 60’s. They’ll make up a new story about how the “parties switched” sometime around 2026, and try to convince people that Republicans are somehow now the party of everything terrible that the Democrats used to be. Tulsi will probably be the new Strom Thurmond to prop up that future narrative.
I don’t think that will get them very far, either. Not for a generation or so.
Their only hope might be if their pundits are correct for the first time in a 15 years, and Trump somehow proves to be an incompetent disaster in his second at-bat.
With their ability to rig elections on a trajectory of STEEP diminishment, they may just have to come up with some sensible ideas that actually appeal to voters. Wouldn’t that be wild?
Also, I’m curious to learn if we get attacked with another bioweapon or something like that to undermine his 2nd Term. I wouldn’t put it past them at all. These people literally took over my town politically with their immigration scheme and tried to take Trump out in every way you can imagine.
Of course they will do something even worse to stay in power and keep their grift going.
I hate to say it, but he’s going to get assassinated.
Edit for the NSA overlords: not by me. I would never. And I like the guy.
I don’t think he will at this point. Any advantage that would give them is gone at this moment in time. If they had gotten him in Butler it might have stopped what’s coming, but not now.
It would be a political nightmare for them.
Trump also has probably 80 percent or more of the fighting-age males who could actually be combat-effective lining up behind this political movement. Ideological purges in the military are coming, and these appear to be the good kind of purges.
Poking the American bear is more dangerous now than at any time since Sept 12, 2001.
Thats just crazy talk. Crazy.
Surface level I agree.
Just conspiratorial at this point, but I believe the real nightmare is all the corruption that could possibly surface, up to the Epstein list.
Plus there’s the whole UAP thing, and who knows what else on the intelligence side of the fence.
And if he does follow through on his ‘16 promise to audit the federal reserve there’s that.
I don’t think it’s all about winning the White House itself.
Oh no, neither do I at this point. Not in the least. Among many other things, this is a struggle for control of the greatest treasure in world history.
Trump’s vast network of vehement opponents are acting scared and desperate for a reason, and it isn’t their high-minded concerns about attaining the best possible government for Americans.
It is my suspicion that a lot and I mean a LOT of corruption and unethical behavior has been accepted as the modus operandi of the vast organization that is the government. When enough people are compromised in enough ways that makes them vested players in the game, the honest guy becomes the odd man out and rocking the boat becomes a very dangerous proposition for anyone. That’s where I think we’re at right now.
We were just so damn wealthy that it could escape notice for a really, really long time. Now that people are feeling the squeeze, they are waking up. It will take a while for people to go back to sleep like we were for the last 60 years or so. We may never go back to that kind of slumber ever again, now that we have the internet and free thought seems to be coming back into popularity.
You really aren’t calling Trump honest are you? He’s known and been repeatedly sued for at the very least being dishonest and scamming the contractor’s on his buildings.
No politician on the planet high up anywhere is honest.
I am. I’ve come to believe that he is more honest in the ways that actually matter than any lifetime politician.
I don’t particularly care about embellishing crowd sizes, getting this or that wrong by a fact checker’s reckoning, or brash braggadocio that seemed pretty normal when I lived in the NYC metro area.
So we’re just objectively ignoring reality now?
I don’t believe I am.
Bingo. Pride comes before the fall.
Lawsuits can be pretty frivolous and are often weaponized. Especially in construction.
I’m in insurance/risk management and see it all the time across industries, especially construction with multiple verticals and parties at play.
Loosely written contracts, assumptions never agreed upon, change orders that went incorrectly and are denied payment et cetera can all result in a lawsuit almost as a normal course of business.
Sometimes the one bringing the suit is the unethical party, trying to manipulate the system to force hands.
Not that I have direct insight in to Trump suits, but again, not everything is as you see it.
