Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

The guy may very well have been a good enough reserve cop, but that’s not the point.

The larger concern is giving arrest powers, a firearm, and qualified immunity to non-citizens, as well as all of the information access that comes with working in law enforcement. Immigrants who have become US Citizens have demonstrated a knowledge of our laws, our language, and have been members of society long enough to attain citizenship. Generally-speaking, few have any problems with an immigrant US Citizen becoming a police officer.

This is a story of Maine State government being hijacked by Democratic Socialists who call themselves Democrats. They are internationalist to the core, meaning they simply do not see US Citizenship as significant at all. This internationalism is reflected in our system of voting with no verification whatsoever for citizenship, spending priorities of state and local governments, public school policy, and government hiring practices. They are also racist to the core, and employ race-based hiring practices that favor non-white, non-straight, and non-Christian applicants.

At least Jamacains have a cool accent. Big Ups!

We’ve got Jeff’s Jamaican cuisine here in Lewiston, at least when they have the food truck parked by their Caribbean market and not at a fair or festival. It is quite good and I hope they’re here legally.

It’s funny how often I have liberals say I bought a mail order bride when I’m arguing with them on Facebook and they see a picture of my Vietnamese wife. Neo-cons don’t do that

Man, “racism” and hiring is so tricky. If there are lots of a particular ethnic group around town I can see why it would make sense to do Targeted Recruitment of that ethnic group to get some of those dudes on the team.

At the same time you can’t have unqualified guys running around as police officers. And you don’t want to add more problems for existing, qualified officers.

Internet searching around says this stuff mostly happens in Woke places. So you’re likely mostly right about the policy being another way to mess with law enforcement.

I wonder if there are any success stories of non citizen police anywhere?

Yesterday my Chinese aunt and American uncle renewed their efforts to wife me up with a Chinese woman. After dating mostly American women, I’m not ruling it out.

Women in Maine, especially single women, are majority woke, which makes a serious relationship an impossibility for me. I have tried, but just can’t put up with it. Even woke immigrants.

Woke white women are even worse.

It depends on what you define as “success” and “citizen”. Soviet communists had a lot of “success” policing Poland when they sent in the NKVD.

Everyone knows “success” for a police officer is meeting the monthly quota for speeding tickets.

I think you would be surprised at the different benchmarks of law enforcement “success” envisioned by Democratic Socialists.

Giving this guy a gun and arrest powers contributed to a measurement of success, as discriminating against hiring white people is an important goal.

The Maine ACLU celebrates all of their prisoner advocacy successes in legal reform, shrugging their shoulders at stories like the one I posted yesterday about Leein Hinkley, who EVERYONE knew was bat shit crazy.

Success is also achieved with every middle class or higher earning person who flees the jurisdiction, because this entrenches their political power, because those people don’t vote for socialist revolutionaries.

Even now, with a closed border, Democrats in Portland continue to fund migrant housing initiatives to attempt to attract more to the state, further entrenching their power.

Socialist success in policing is when cops can no longer arrest someone for shooting up in the park, harassing businesses, or creating dangerous situations while panhandling in the streets. Success is when Lewiston police has to arrest the same guy 50 times in the last two years, who acted badly enough to be arrested even with Maine’s Homelessness Crisis Protocol in place.

It all makes perfect sense when you understand that destabilizing society is the goal.

Back to yesterday’s story, the guy literally came here on vacation, on a one week tourist visa flying into Miami, FL. Then overstayed and became a cop in Maine.

How absurd is that? What do you think attracted him to Maine? A yearning for winter weather?

It all makes sense when you realize the goals of Maine Democrats. They want one party rule to execute a wealth extraction scam. It really is that simple.

Even the local police department is in on it!

Yuri must be smiling somewhere.

Most cops aren’t on board with any of it, but they don’t set policy. Elected representatives in government do. Cops must then police in accordance with the laws and the directions given by local governments like the city council.

If you’re a chief of police who disagrees, you can simply be replaced. That’s how it works, and anyone who pretends that Maine Democrats aren’t socialist revolutionaries has an awful lot of policies straight from the Democratic Socialists of America to explain away.

They do it the same way they explain away past socialist disasters and the disastrous results of their own long and dominant governance in Maine.

That’s not REAL socialism!

The ol’ Politics/Admisistration dichotomy showing up in the 21st century.

I don’t think a single cop wants to arrest this asshole every other week ad infinitum, but Maine Democrats want it that way. The asshole’s family wants him locked up in a mental hospital, which they have literally turned our city into.

The idea is that this asshole is a valuable revenue stream for dozens of area nonprofits, all of whom can use him in their service statistics, flowing public money into the hands of politically-connected nonprofit employees and executives, some of whom pay themselves quite handsomely. That’s why we de facto legalized drugs and just broke ground on a new “low barrier” homeless shelter run by a group whose financials I examined via FOAA. They have no business handling millions public funding based on their terrible bookkeeping that seems like it has to be masking a lot of fraud. 8k in uncategorized expenses, 12k in office supplies, no listed executive compensation, and a whole host of other red flags.

This also perpetuates the feedback loop to entrench power. Nobody wants to live near people like this or run a business, so they just leave. This opens up more housing to get more state dependents in the jurisdiction.

If voter ID fails in November, I think I’m done with Maine. It’s only going to keep getting worse, much worse, unless the social justice dimwits can be stopped.

Despite the controversy voter ID seems pretty non descrimatory and effective. I hope the voters of Maine get what they vote for.

But if it doesnt go the way you want some nice place down South is sure to have fun women, manufacturing and tuna fishing.

I like how winter kills most of the things I don’t like in nature up here, but the worsening social conditions are too much too ignore, and I’m not about to spend 500k to move outside of Lewiston so I can be increasingly taxed as I attempt to retire.

Studying what happened will keep history and economics students busy for a long time, as will the shocking decline of so many other once peaceful and prosperous cities. Explaining it all away should also keep the social science students busy for a long time.

Worth a read. CNN isn’t news, it is programming. I even fell for a few of these, but I knew most were bullshit immediately. I even started threads on some of these stories.

Thats funny. Them calling it psychological warfare. I’ve been discussing weaponized confirmation bias and abusing the brains tendency to save energy by being lazy and using defaults for years now.

It takes too much energy to deconstruct a flawed or preferential belief system and reconstruct a new one that makes sense and is analogous to reality.

Fucking stupid brains.

True. It seems impossible to ever do fully.

We like to think ourselves objective or rational, but studies show that we’re so wrong about that.

Right. Hence my term “preferential beliefs”.

People would prefer to coddle and nurture their precious thoughts. I don’t blame them. If thats the best they can do, then they likely believe that what they’ve come up with is really good.

My therapist asked me how I managed to change a lot of really shitty behaviors. My response: “Stop defending them. Once they’ve become known and identified, stop defending them. Quit the behavior, and treat the rationale behind it as indefensible.”.

Simple, but not easy.
