This was from a restaurant near by, on one of my townships community pages.
Lets play “Whats Wrong With This Story?”
So, what do yinz think is wrong with this story?

Bad grammar and repetition?
I was thinking along the lines of agricultural & food products from Mexico being exempt from tariffs.
.
Maybe they are using beef and chicken that comes from Chy-nah.

I’m still waiting for a response from a Mexican restaurant in Auburn who is racist against white people and makes lousy burritos. I’m also waiting for a response from every politician who represents me in Maine.
Lewiston’s authentic Mexican place is awesome and is run by great people. Not woke. Gringo cop husband and his Mexican wife and her family.
Too repetitive about forced to increase prices
Food prices have actually come down
The food in those pics don’t look quality to me
Let’s put our heads together and come up with a Fair price for all the restaurants to charge.
You know what other “products we use for cooking” are affected by “tarrifs”?
Staff.
Do you source your products locally?
Are they organically-raised?
Is it served with fava beans and a nice chianti?
Honestly, I’d have just changed out the old menus for ones with updated pricing. If the food is good, nobody would even flinch.
It looks like they’re playing a public game of “blame Trump!”, but grossly underestimated who they were addressing.
This is called capitalism fellas!
A business owner should be able to charge whatever they want. It’s up to the consumers to decide if it’s worth it, that’s the free market.
In capitalism, you the consumer are not going to get the truth from the business owner on why the price is going up.
Forcing fair and equal price is a Dem strategy mindset.
I’d rather have the former. See, I’m coming around.
I once ordered steak and eggs for the normal price, guess what I got, shredded steak and eggs, not even enough steak for a sammich. This is what you get with cheesesteaks at most sub shops.
I no longer buy this stuff, the result, saved money and heailther living!
I agree. In fact, you as the consumer don’t even need to know why the price is going up.
I don’t go out to eat much, and when I do its not to find out stuff like why it costs what. An owner does. An accountant does.
A customer doesn’t.
Yup. That would have been the smart thing.
Nearly every Democrat in Maine is campaigning on blaming and stopping Trump, even though they have run the state since 2018. They don’t really talk about their accomplishments, because everything has gotten measurably worse unless you’re a “New Mainer” getting everything given to you or a nonprofit grifter getting public money dumped on you.
Even most of them still have to send their kids to our failing, dangerous public schools.
In between getting boo’d wherever she makes a public appearance, Governor Mills is saying that the tariffs and immigration policies are why we’ve had 85,000 fewer Canadian border crossings this past May compared to last.
Meanwhile in reality, Canadians are broker than ever, traveling less, and it has literally rained every weekend for the last 13 weeks in Maine. This weekend should make 14 in a row.
Our weather has been EXTREMELY GAY this year, especially yesterday when it was 100 degrees and humid.
Worst weather man ever!
It’s raining men… ![]()
That’s right…it’s up to the public if they want to eat at the restaurant, not the governments decision to regulate what the owner charges
Where is my Weird Brant Drake, and what have you done with him?
Every time I go to Walmart, I check on the price of broccoli imported from ChyNah.
N=1has remained the same here throughout the tariff “war”.
Man, I’m shocked by how the MSM is praising Trump for finally getting NATO countries to pay their fair share for defense!
(that’s sarcasm btw lol)
