Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

Well said. That’s the basics of it.

Bingo. They want two tier society.

A lack of understanding about what “rights” even are is a big contributor to this mess, and Maine Democrats have a state-sponsored program to guide students into more new conceptions of rights constructed along racial and identity based lines.

Actual civil rights in the USA are based on holding US Citizenship, which has no racial, religious, or sexual preference tests in this country.

Now we’re here, with a big old parade of Pride people who believe that it is a human right for me to get naked in the women’s locker room at Planet Fitness before setting off the lunk alarm with some deadlifts. It’s literally considered a human right in Maine.

No…they want perversion out in the open and accepance of intruding on women and children

None of which need be present for a corrupt two-party system to thrive.

I would agree that both parties are corrupted at the national level, but there’s nothing inherently less corruptible with a three, four, or 10 party system. We also don’t have a formally codified two party system, its just that most voters self-select one of the two major parties.

I think the Democrats have been completely corrupted from Washington to Augusta to Lewiston, as they all seem to follow the same basic script I mentioned earlier, the same script that’s being followed everywhere it can get traction in the west. Gaslighting is a central part of the script, too.

I’ve been keeping a really close eye on local politics for the last several years and I’m not seeing glaring signs of corruption from Republicans in Maine, whose policies tend to be in line with 1990’s Democrats on most things. I’m sure there have been kickbacks, extortion, blackmail, etc, but the contrast is striking right now.

Every Lewiston rep to Augusta is a Democrat and they all have the same message and have provided similar responses, or no responses to me personally. Julie McCabe asked for my phone number to discuss the political terrorism being inflicted on Lewiston residents who speak at school board meetings, but she never made the call.

This isn’t just internet spats, but concerted efforts to destroy my barber’s business, contact customers who leave reviews, post her photo and personal information on sex worker websites, file false IRS reports against her, and create a dedicated hate webpage that once featured my writing that they bizarrely attributed to someone else. That someone else was another public comment speaker whose special needs childcare business was accused as being “a facade” by the Lewiston School Board Chairwoman. I don’t think it is a coincidence that the same mob was unleashed on two different women beginning the day after they made public comment, both being accused of being neo-Nazis who want to harm minorities and immigrants.

These same politicians all made a whole lot of noise when the unnamed white supremacists showed up in the park 3 years ago. They condemned that display of political extremism, blasting it in the newspapers even. Not a peep about actual political terrorism in Lewiston, though.

Similarly, my city council rep has never responded to me. He’s a non-profiteer who barely participates in the meetings and votes how he is told. I have had a few very long conversations with other city councilors and former politicians who are very willing to engage and hear people out.

If I contrast that with Laurel Libby across the river in Auburn, she constantly does write-ups of legislation, live streams, and goes out of her way to explain her line of thought. She’s been doing that long before she had a big spotlight shown on her for being censured in the House, which included stripping her vote away, disenfranchising 9,000 of my neighbors. She’s probably the best at it in Maine, but other Republicans tend to be willing to engage similarly and don’t appear to be following a script like Maine Dems at the moment.

If we step back from party politics and look at the current state of policy in Maine, I can’t imagine how a high-level drug kingpin or, say, CCP-linked growing and trafficking operations would want to change a single thing. Maine’s policy of “harm reduction” is, in fact, an actual subsidy to drug dealers. Maine taxpayers literally provide drug addicts with everything they need at no charge to them, including food and shelter, freeing up all of their time and money to become revenue for drug kingpins. We even keep their customers alive for them, including teaching captive public school students that it is their moral obligation to carry narcan around and tend to overdoses. You can still believe that harm reduction is good public policy, but you can’t ignore that it is a subsidy for drug dealers. I don’t agree with it in it’s current state at all, which has produced hellscape conditions in downtown Lewiston.

I have a really, really hard time believing that corruption isn’t involved at all levels of Maine government. It sure would explain a lot of what I observe.

The good news is that propaganda is dying, even while the wild west of AI takes shape and deceptive content is more pervasive than ever. The difference now is that our corrupt media doesn’t have a monopoly on information anymore, and a new bar has been set with Trump’s appearance on Rogan and other unscripted podcasts. People are wising up, and luckily Gen X is here with our well-honed bullshit detectors that boomers and a lot of younger people don’t seem to possess as much.

I think the days of actors succeeding at politics by reading the script and being supported by the corrupt, lying media is ending. That’s obviously very bad for Democrats right now, but good for everyone who isn’t corrupt in the long run. If you can’t go on a podcast and support your ideas for hours on end, people will take notice of that.

We are in a new phase of the very, very long history of how politicians/rulers can control information and control the public. The people are simultaneously dumber than ever and smarter than ever, and a platform like X allows good information to rise to the top and smart, informed, ethical people to call out bullshit.

Whether people learn how to sort through that landscape or whatever takes shape from it remains to be seen, but MAGA is figuring it out.

AI continues to enrich the internet experience. I wasn’t the only person who thought the same thing.

Something stinks… political water carrying hacks aside… heads need to fucking roll

I don’t think many realize how deeply entrenched AI is going to become in society over the next 5 to 10 years

On one hand it gives someone like me a lot of hope… as there is a chance major medical breakthroughs (esp in the field of genetics, where AI can easily speed up the pace of research like 1000 fold).

However there is a ridiculously high chance the technology is used for the wrong reasons… I can already jailbreak chatGPT with the right commands and have chatGPT instruct me on how to do anything I want it to do.

More oversight is needed, but at the current rapid pace of progression I don’t see this eventuating. Hell I believe in the US a law was just passed banning states from passing regulation on AI for the next decade

US is currently locked into an “AI cold war” with China… as politicians and experts are aware of our current trajectory, if the US falls behind and China wins the AI war creating agentic AI (that has the capacity to recursively self improve and potentially become superintelligent) then China potentially creates a new world order. I do genuinely believe AGI will come out of AI… but not from current era LLM’s (unless by freak accident advanced LLM accidentally codes AGI). If AGI becomes a thing ASI will too. The scary part is if it’s even slightly misaligned from human values for whatever reason the outcome could be very dystopian

Fuck I hope America wins this race… and pushes Australia’s psycho, draconian nanny state bullshit out of the water

Imagine every human can be augmented to be bigger, stronger, faster and Australia is the only country in the world to say no secondary to our weapons laws or whatever… Let the US take over lol.

ISIS and Al Quaeda tried to engage in biological warfare with the general population. They failed in the last steps of creation because synthesizing these viruses is very difficult. Give them agentic AI with no barriers… This is one out of many scenarios where powerful AI falls into the wrong hands. Had they been successful they would have killed millions as these islamic terrorist organisations are genuinely death cults who believe god is on their side

I believe if they unleash biological warfare America immediately flattens them into the ground (with the support of other countries)… but that wouldn’t stop millions from dying.

Looks like Los Angeles is kicking off the first Summer of Love of Trump’s second term with some mostly peaceful protests.

Since their weather is always exactly the same, they need a Riot Man.

“On Monday it will be mostly peaceful to the east in the hills, but as you get to the coast it becomes more likely to see brick throwing and opportunistic looting. Partly rowdy with a chance of fire! Back To You, Nancy!..”.

I feel like we can learn from the IDF how to respond to rock throwers

The demand for “right wing” authoritarianism exceeds the supply by so much, the left has to act in a way that can only be answered by authoritarianism.

Whether it’s open borders to overwhelm our housing market and public institutions, rioting to keep everyone here, or the lawful response to that, it’s like they won’t be happy until everything is in flames.

Socialism is now and always has been a death cult with a historical accelerationist aspect that the “progressive” adjective is derived from. We’re definitely progressing towards something here in Maine. Marx’s own father believed him to be possessed by the devil when little Karl was still a teenager. I’m beginning to think he was right.

I won’t be surprised if we actually do get martial law in Trump’s term, and I might welcome it.

In local news, a Slavic immigrant to Maine who has become a US citizen was punched in the face at a Pride event in Hallowell yesterday for, wait for it, peacefully protesting it.

The police, unsurprisingly, “took a knee” in the dispute. They answer to Hallowell city council, after all.

The Satanists were there and they seemed to be in complete agreement with the entire Pride agenda. You can’t make this stuff up anymore.

Knock 'em right out of their shoes.

We should all just thank God (the hippy jesus, not the real one), Freya, Fauna, The Universe, and Neil Degrass Tyson that they aren’t insurrectionists.

CoExIsT Motherfucker!

I was listening to NPR in my car this morning. They set the record straight like they always do. This video apparently depicts a very rare event in Los Angeles, which is a peaceful city governed by wise leaders who don’t need or appreciate federal encroachment.

Two things: 1) Why don’t the cops back their cars up? Why sit there in throw range, when 20’ back the cement and bikes wouldn’t hit? And 2) Wouldn’t it be funny if the rock-and-cement-throwers pulled enough of the bridge apart that it fell out from under them?

But then back to 1) What a silly place for the cops to park. Would they stop there if these were cars they’d paid for?
