So, I was listening to Ghost when I picked up my daughter today and Cirice was playing. She told me she liked the song and asked who it was so she could hear more from them. I don’t know if it’s a good thing she likes the same music as me.

The satanic imagery coupled with this band being mainstream didn’t sit well with many.
I think the satan stuff is needlessly edgy… but that’s probably why they’ve been so successful in the first place

I’d watch them live.

I like Ghost. I do listen it occasionally. Really well made pop-rock stuff, but also some variation between the albums.

I do listen almost everything. These days I’m into classical stuff a lot. But I have always sweet spot for some really rusty nordic and Eastern European metal. Maybe it’s genetical? Or something to do with living in a country where you don’t practically see the sun for months during winter.
Burzum? That’s a weird and twisted story.
Yes. Vikernes is radical and twisted guy. But Burzum’s music is vital part of the Norwegian BM. I’ll try to separate the person and the product.
I’m not sure how much I listen to Burzum these days, but it came first to my mind.
Generally European Black Metal has pretty strong ties to political radicalism, but I try to ignore that part. As a different example, I listened a lot of RATM when I was younger, but I really never cared about the anti-capitalist message the band has.
