This has actually been going on for a while
I have family in the UK (left South Africa for UK) and I was told of a case wherein a 19 year old posted rap lyrics on her instagram… Her friend had died in a hit and run and she posted lyrics from her friends favourite song to commemorate her friend on instagram
It was a rap song that had a few N-bombs… She was arrested, tried in court, prosecuted… found guilty… sentenced to 500 hours of community service and five years probation
I couldn’t believe it and had to actually look this up. In the UK thousands of people are arrested yearly for social media posts… some of these have merit e.g. encouraging suicide bombings etc and you get flagged by counterterrorist organisations… but the one like I mentioned above is unbelievably cruel
a nineteen year old girl had lost her best friend…
I think countries like Belgium and UK are slowly heading towards shariah law
It’s unfortunately almost entirely confined to my generation (support for this). My brother and I know left wing college students from our time spent living in America who aren’t actually comfortable discussing the issue, they’ll gloss over it “oh that doesn’t matter and/or my opinion isn’t strong on this” and feel uncomfortable condemning it with the most retarded argument “but there’s so much discrimination towards trans”. I understand this is a newish hot topic, but it has been going on since the 90’s… Caster Semenya the female sprinter who broke records and consistently dominated has 5 alpha reductase deficiency. DHT is responsible for phallic enlargement and development of body hair etc and those born without the enzyme responsible for converting T to DHT are born with underdeveloped or ambiguous genitalia… But they have XY chromosomes and are genetically male even if they’re considered “intersex”. I can give additional examples
Caster Semenya had testosterone levels off the charts for men if I recall correctly, and was allowed to compete as a woman all this time because the IOC was uncomfortable with the idea of banning her even though she clearly looked like a man… she fathered numerous children for gods sake! Only recently has this issue come into the public spotlight but it has been around for a while.
A common denominator I notice with regards to these views is the immense background of priviledge men in particular who harbour them tend to come from. With women it appears to be more common in that wokism/radical left wing ideology tends to cater towards fourth and fifth wave feminism whereas this ideology also tends to alienate young men… and the men who tend to also fall into wokism anecdotally (from my experience) tend to be very sheltered or very privileged… then again what do I know…
Under Trump federal funding is being diverted away from colleges promoting destructive ideology, and students promoting anti-American ideology/extremist rhetoric are being suspended en masse as colleges want their funding back. I have the feeling a purge of these institutions may be the next step, as colleges may seek to rid themselves of radical ideologues now responsible for federal grants and funding being taken away from said college campuses. I can only hope the same happens here in Australia
I’m still not a Trump supporter… For instance as of recent it has been acknowledged some of those deported to El Salvador were American citizens who hadn’t done anything wrong but there will be no effort made to get said citizens back while they rot in maximum security prison (in El Salvadorian prison full of MS-13 gang members)… But I prefer him to Kamala Harris and acknowledge there are many aspects of the administration I can get behind. I acknowledge good where good is done and I condemn what I don’t like… Americas situation had me pinned against two unlikable candidates but I am most concerned about conflict in the middle east/the islamification of the west and woke culture (anti nuclear family type rhetoric leading to low fertility relates and the development of a future ‘super aged’ society that will collapse) as well as the housing crisis unfolding in the west
BTW, citizens of the UK didn’t necessarily give up their guns (look at the firearm laws in Northern Ireland). Different jurisdictions have different laws… Northern Ireland has firearms laws more akin to that of stricter American states as opposed to England which has laws not dissimilar to Aus.
Aus has gotten stricter and stricter since the 90’s but even today 10-15% of the population owns a gun and the average gun owner has four firearms on average. In the cities gun culture died out but go rural (or even semi-rural where I live) and many still own guns though we are ridiculous in that firearm ownership allows for police to access your property for “spot checks”. If you are rural… or even where I live the chance of this happening when you own a gun for 5-10-20 years is minimal… My neighbour owns a rifle and a shotgun and police have never conducted a spot check on him… but the mere fact they can is terrifying. There is a huge divide in Aus… we used to have a decent gun culture now almost everyone I’m friends with from the cities have never even fired a gun and couldn’t differentiate between an airsoft gun and a real firearm.
