In public schools? Misgendering has been criminalized in Canada, but you guys have the Second Emendment, so how can they do something like that? Public institutions should not be able to punish or enforce speech, wouldn’t that be against the Constitution?

That’s a really good question, even though I’m guessing you mixed up our amendments. The first amendment protects speech, the second protects our right to own and carry firearms in common use.

It seems like compelled religious speech to me. Maine has enshrined pronouns as a human right in our laws, which is the legal basis for the federal government’s actions against Maine.

Yes, that’s one of the reasons I’m not a Republican. Many Maine Republicans have worked hand-in-hand with the Democrats to entrench the massive grifting with a variety of shady decision-making, along with simply being ineffective as an opposition party. Their shenanigans are child’s play compared to the Maine Dems.

I may become one if Laurel Libby continues to grow in her leadership. She struck me as the real deal years ago, long before she had a national spotlight shone on her. She can actually write well to explain her point of view, always does livestreams, takes questions, and discusses issues at a good level of depth.

In other local news, the subreddit that Maine’s DSA and antifa activists have been organizing their hate campaigns against my friends in Lewiston has been banned today. That’s right, they were too bat shit crazy even for far-left reddit.

This is a good sign, IMO.

That’s still the basic reason why we have the second amendment, to protect the first.

For all of the dimwits who still parrot the decades-old “But why did you let X, Y, and Z happen instead of organizing an armed uprising?”, notice that the USA’s government has walked back all of the Biden-era speech controls the government was imposing on the media without any need for armed resistance.

Then take a look at the United Kingdom, where the government doesn’t even trust their citizens with sharp objects. They are way down the Socialist path and it is accelerating rapidly, and in shocking ways. THE SAME PLAN happened there, but they succeeded with gun control in the U.K.

Many Europeans gained a lot of satisfaction by sneering at Americans for our gun laws before they understood the trap that was being laid for them. It’s quite scary to me. The U.K. and Germany look like frogs in a pot to me, with some of the frogs becoming aware of how soon they’ll be cooked.

Speech controls, arrest and imprisonment for unapproved speech, near total disarmament, and a formalized two-tier society aren’t some right wing distortion of the situation, it is the situation in the U.K., and the Democrats’ desired outcome in the USA.

The clock is ticking on population demographics over there. It is in Lewiston, too, which will be Muslim-majority in my lifetime assuming present trends continue. We’re just one city though.

The whole situation is crazy when you consider the human trafficking was done completely by plan and funded with tax dollars, all while calling it “immigration”. I’m not sure what that’s going to mean in 20 years for Lewiston, which is just one relatively small city, or the U.K, which used to be a great power on the world stage.

This is false. If they sneered it was because of the high amount of gun violence here. Contrary to popular belief, you can own guns in Europe. Everyone in my family over there owns guns because they hunt. It’s simply the fact people are less inclined to want a gun over there.

Seemingly in response to Trump’s recent actions regarding Title IX, Maine Democrats continue to demonstrate that they will lie the entire way to get their agenda through. This is just the latest episode in “THAT’S not what’s happening, but it would be great if it was.” We’ve seen the same with mass migration, drug use in public, prostitution in public, rampant violent crime, dumbing-down the school system, and every other “far-right conspiracy” you can think of over the last 10 years.
