The anti DEI measures seem to be race, gender identity and sexual orientation based more than biological sex/gender. White women have firmly established themselves as possibly the most powerful demographic in this nation. Does anyone believe women will accept having to compete with men on a level playing field?
Yeah. Obama was brilliantly divisive. Just alienate the old gaurd, and theres your new guard- All of the rainbow brigade that stayed.
Then cultivate that crowd by supporting their causes, narratives and preferences, and feed them with money & jobs.
There you have it. A new generation of radicalized attack dogs. And he didn’t have to really do much. Just neglect the old dogs until they get tired of seeing the young ones get fed first.
I’ve already made it known to my local business-destroying antifa activists that I’m very easy to find and can be found walking the neighborhood most afternoons between 5 and 6. I’m just waiting for one of 'em to roll up, call me a Nazi, and then try to do something about it.
I could use the excitement.
Top-down is the most important angle of attack, especially with absolutely absurd amounts of public money being spent on indoctrinating ourselves.
Maine’s problem is that it is entrenched at the state level, with heavily-rigged elections that anyone from planet Earth can vote in, as long as they are instructed to list an in-district address on our Scout’s Honor system of voting registration.
If voter ID passes, Maine will likely be seeking a DOGE and an awful lot of the funding for our ongoing social experiment will just dry up. I expect many of this voting bloc will simply go somewhere else when money stops raining down upon them.
I predict that the entire woke movement is going to suffer a Klan-like collapse by the end of Trump’s term. They went from dominating Indiana politics in the 1920’s to being a group everybody pretended they had nothing to do with, and it happened really fast over just a couple of years.
Yeah. This was all propagated emotional sentiment as @SkyzykS discusses in his post about Obama, but it wasn’t based on objective reality. Just a matter of time.
I agree. But is there no middle ground between snitches get stitches and see something say something? After all, you used to get cases like Matthew Shepard.
When you say Democratic Socialism, who do you mean by it? I ask because in my side of the pond, Democratic Socialist parties are center-right, with a more conservative, christian voter base, while Socialists belong to a different political ‘‘family’’, as do the communists. The latter are going extinct though, being gradually substituted by the new, moralistic, elitist, privileged generation of leftists.
I suppose these are the same types as the ones you’re refering to as Democratic Socialists - I was just curious about your use of that denomination, since I don’t think I’ve heard them described as such before.
No, there isn’t. Murder still happens, I wouldn’t recommend legalizing it. But attitudes should shift back to disallowing the tail to wag the dog for sure, and often times that does look like silencing the bullshit on a social level. Think cancel culture, but less organized and more in line with normal.
I think the lefts attempt at creating a cancel culture was a purity test in disguise. Fortunately they all underestimated how morally twisted and personally nasty they were.
They’re like:
“Yeah, lets make a bunch of unwritten rules of conduct, and when someone breaks them we’ll scream until they die!”
Along comes Ellen Degeneres: “…”
Dave Chapelle: "
here’s a decade worth of material!"
Elon Musk: “
… X…”
Hard Socialism, like your latter example. It is a difficult thing to describe, and that’s part of its design. There is a Democratic Socialist organization, but they are not a political party. They are Socialist activists who typically operate within the Democratic Party.
In my opinion, the minute Democrats went all in on DEI, they flipped from being a liberal free-market party to liberal Socialists. Transgenderism in public policy and their wild immigration ideas are also Socialist ideas.
Another way I look at it is Democratic Socialist ideas are the ones introduced in the last 15 years that are incompatible with core ideas about American government and human rights. It’s all designed to lead to single party rule, which is when the fun would really start.
One could argue they learned from the Right. How many actors and writers got blackballed because of a supposed association with communists? Bill Maher got cancelled by the right. People tend to forget or be completely ignorant about things that have happened in this nation. You can look at Ruby Ridge and Kent State to see how the government will not only kill citizens but get away with it. I don’t trust this administration or any other to be the purity police.
I look at what they’re doing behind the guise not necessarily who’s benefiting… It’s simply another wedge used to rile up low iq types to divide people. Idc if self-loathing yt rejects benefit from it. I do appreciate the irony, however.
Put them in a Camel Clutch and film it.
One of my greatest regrets in my bouncing career was never taking high mount or gift wrapping anyone so I could Mr. Miyagi honk their nose.
Local antifa seem to be white women and one guy who looks like the final boss of a Phish show parking lot.
Sadly, their efforts at business destruction do seem to be having a negative impact on my friends hairdressing business.
Zooming back out to Trump, I just learned that he’s moving NPR and PBS into his sights, encouraging congress to defund them both.
I’d be completely fine with that, even though I used to be a regular listener and PBS used to make a lot of really fantastic documentaries. That’s not what they are now at all. We’re just paying for our own indoctrination with these networks that could never survive on their own as commercial enterprises.
Just some observations from the local Liberal about the last 2 months or so. I tend to prefer a zoomed out view of things, so the highlights below are issues that, to me, paint a broader picture of where things are heading.
Tl:dr at the bottom, as this got quite long… :
-
Blanket pardon of J6ers.. horrible, horrible, horrible executive action. Some of those people literally killed police officers, and now everyone knows that as long as you are loyal to trump you can pretty much do whatever you want, up to murder, and there’s a decent chance you will get a pardon for it. There’s also been some other very questionable pardons, including the guy who founded Nikola and defrauded investors out of hundreds of millions millions (and donated heavily to Trump and republicans last year after a history of almost no political donation activity)… but whos Lawyer is Pam Bondis brother - Again, loyalty is the only currecy in the Trump administration. With it you can defraud and kill cops, without it you get threatened with all manner of punishments.
-
Trump suing law firms, media outlets that have dared to speak out against him, and even single individuals for simply having poll results that didnt pan out … Again, loyalty is the only currency worth anything to Trump… Be loyal and you can get away with murder, say something bad and you could get sued by the government. Overall this produces a chilling effect on the people who want to speak out against the government, not a great thing if you value historical American ideals
-
RFK at the HHS is shaping up to be about as bad as I expected. Even as his advice to take Vitamin A for the measles is causing liver damage in children and most recently bringing in noted anti-vaxer David Greer to study the link between vaccines and autism, an idea that has been so thoroughly beaten to death I think it now resembles a certain someone who dropped out of the presidential race last year
While tariff talk was big during the campaign trail, I dont think anyone really realized the scope and reasons in which Trump would wield it…
-
The executive order supposedly calls on the tariffs for fentanyl and illegals crossing the border… from Canada. But Trumps language suggest he actually wants them to become the 51st state and that it really has nothing to do with that. By his own admission the tariffs would go away if they became the 51st state… so it really has nothing to do with Fentanyl at all. I dont think anyone saw that coming, and he has even said he is essentially waging an economic war on them for it to happen, harming our relationship with them … The people of Cananda have begun to boycott our products and are not coming here as much and are cancelling plans to travel to the US and The new PM has said “The old relationship we had with the US is over, and that we are no longer a reliable partner”
-
So are the Danes, as well as boycotting not only American physical products like wine, but also our digital offerings like Netflix
-
Trump, apparently concerned about “trade deficits” enough that he vowed to fix them, seems to be making our worse. Thats gonna be a hit to travel and hard goods being sold to Canadians. If any economic benefit emerges from this it will have to offset those loses to be worth it, to say nothing of the relationship damage it seems to have done.
-
Apparently now we are in the beginning stages of also acquiring Greenland and the panama canal from their respective sovereign countries, and naturally Trump has not ruled out using the military in either scenario
-
Contrary to the claim that America is respected the world over again, our favorability ratings are in decline literally all over the world
-
With his typical hyperbolic language of ending the war in Ukraine in 24 hours with a phone call (something I dont think anyone took seriously), the war rages on and apparently the plan to was to give Russia everything it wanted, get Ukraine nothing it lost back, while also “making a deal” to acquire Ukraines mineral reserves, all while making a big public show of how terrible Zelenski is while continually being effusive to Putin, only very recently admitting he is angry with him for not wanting to end the war and threatening further economic sanctions on him … I’ll leave you to form your opinion on how he is handling it is to your liking, for me it leaves a lot to be desired.
-
The Signal thing… I wont dwell on it too much, but to me its the administration in a nutshell. A completely unserious group of people conducting serious business in a haphazard and amateur way that lead to an issue and when they get caught doing so attempt to shift blame, demean the person who brought the issue to light, and will no doubt learn almost nothing from the matter because again as long as they are loyal to Trump and dont speak out against him or the team nothing will happen to them. This would be a 24/7/365 scandal on Fox News if team Biden had done this 100% no doubt.
-
Elon and DOGE have made continually remarks about finding “fraud” and things like 200 year old people getting checks from Social Security… I havent seen them present anything interesting in that manner (bringing charges against someone that is fraudulently getting money, and not just that there are names in the system). But they are apparently claiming living people are dead and taking their benefits away. AKA again it seems like unserious people stumbling their way through incredibly serious issues and fucking it up along the way.
-
The hachet being taking to the entire government… I think its a bit too early to draw any kind of conclusions from it, but I do hope it doesnt end in a “be careful what you wish for” where lots of invisible glue that was holding lots of things we take for granted together gets rubbed away and things we didnt even think of start falling apart… For example with the cuts to research funding there are already scientists looking to head to Europe for their work instead of doing it here in the US
-
While they have begun some deportations of illegals and gang members (which Im willing to admit as being a good thing, even if it means we round up people here legally that just happen to have tattoos and pay $6mil to El Salvador to imprison them), It doesnt really seem like they’ve been able to round up the millions and millions of illegal criminals they wanted to… But the pressure to do so (including quotas) is leading to American citizens, naturalized citizens, and those here legally on visas or other such programs … and even tourists are being either targeted or mistakenly detained… oops.
-
Him taking over the Lincoln center just also has the whiff of authoritarian dictator about it. Wanting to control the arts, having an effect on the kinds of things people get to see and experience, not a good look.
-
And again with the 3rd term talk… Again he has the whiff of authoritarian dictator to him
Given that this is already about twice as long as it should be I’ll wrap it up there.
Tl:dr - The authoritarian tactic of loyalty being the most important quality a person can have seems to be more prevalent and impactful than ever, even getting police murderers off now. RFK shaping up to be a nightmare IMO. Contrary to being the anti-war president he promised on the campaign trail, America is now waging all sorts of new conflicts and threatening military action against mostly our perhaps-soon-to-be-former Allies, absolutely tanking Americas image across the globe and already causing economic losses in goods and travel boycotts, and stock market loses abound. Unserious people bungling their way through serious issues creating problems, and generally speaking he is handling things in quite the same way a dictator does and speaks, not a great look.
I have to work the rest of the day today so unfortunately I likely cant respond much but I had some free time in the morning and thought Id give this generally pro Trump thread a different perspective on things for those wondering what us libtards are thinking during our gender reassignment surgeries and tesla molotov parties
Lose / lose … Antifa scum are so pathetically weak it would be nothing to gloat about
I really couldn’t care less what other countries think of us… much of their opinions are shaped by our internal media scum that love to paint America as this awful racist nation when nobody is flocking to their countries for a better life save a handful
I hope your Molotov “cock” tail burns off what’s left of that scabby piece of bacon you call a penis
Jk amigo
Hey that’s not my fault, I went to the same penis enlargement surgeon as Elon, he came highly recommended
I couldn’t care less either in the abstract, as in “oh no Fran and Gertrude in Norway dont like us any more”
But in objective reality it’s causing people to boycott our products, stop spending their travel dollars here, and are allies are beginning to shift their commitments and engagements with us. Actual money is being lost by Americans because of these shifts in attitude and behavior
