The Dems haven’t learned anything. Walz was basically saying they should double down on the woke bullshit and their immigration policy. And that old, white guys let them down.

With the Democrats polling at sub 30 percent national approval rating, I’m wondering what is next for the party. The base seems to be deeply committed to woke ideology, although people are peeling themselves away. There is no compromise with Socialist ideologues, who interpret anyone who disagrees as a moral menace.
We may get our first new major political party in a long time, leaving the woke ideologues on their own bizarre island. Then again, the Democrats have always been an empty vessel, ready to be filled with whatever ideas garner the most political advantage.
If nothing changes, we could be in for a long period of one-party rule at the Federal level. That’s not a good thing long-term, if though it may be right now.
Today was the deadline for Maine to comply with federal guidelines on Title IX, and now the hammer is dropping. An “unprecedented” investigation into Maine public schools for violating FERPA laws is now commencing. Thank goodness. Kids in Maine public schools are being held hostage by Democratic Socialist ideologues who are taking every step possible to ensure a dumb, compliant population completely wrapped up in Social and Emotional Learning, but not literacy, mathematics, or an understanding of science.

Unfortunately for everybody, when what one is doing is not working, the obvious solution is “Do it harder!!!”.
So, yeah. As soon as the weather gets nicer we’re gonna see cities burning again.
It might just be wildfires.
Mostly peaceful forest protests. 
I’m really waiting for the college protests to turn into book burnings. All while calling everybody else Nazis and insisting they’re on the right side of history.
I think sentiment is turning, fortunately, and the Rittenhouses of the world will be celebrated instead of shunned and potentially jailed. We are moving in to a Rooftop Korean era. Could be interesting out there.

It blows my mind there isn’t more done about this. Surely Maine provides near enough access to ready mix concrete and ocean access via boat?
I’d really not want to see it come to that. Especially over motor mouthed politicians.
It’s crazy that the only way anything goes from one echo chamber to the other is by politicians and news outlets saying what someone else said, and polluting it with their own twists on the way over.
One thing to know about Maine is that it was an extraordinarily peaceful place with the least violent people in the USA for basically the entire 19th and 20th centuries.
If voter ID doesn’t pass and the Dems stay entrenched, I predict more extreme responses to the policies and conditions created by them. I’ve kind of put that as my line in the sand for remaining in Maine. If it passes, I’m confident the situation will sort itself out within a few years.
If not, I can earn money anywhere.
