What’s your T and AI dosing?
I agree, TRT must have an AI for most guys from what I’ve experienced and read myself.
I dont understand , a simple blood test shows the level of E in your systems, that result should take the guesswork out of wether ARIMIDEX is needed or not
havce you all read about the blood test dr crisler uses, its 24 urine test for E and everything else
Rhein Lab makes the kit. I called Rhein and I was very impressed!
$225 , insurance wont cover it, but I bet itsa the best on the market
Crisler made it clear why hed does not like the other test
I went to my endo the other day, I go to this guy for advice and because I do my blood testing via my insurance thru him, My hormone treatments come from another dr at bodylogicmd.com.
I just started T cyp shots and HCG shots, I have held off on taking HCG yet. My endo says there is no added gain to taking HCG other then testicle size.
He also made it clear under no circumstances would he ever prescribe a AI to me. When I asked how we would control e, he stated we would lower dose of T. I told him I had E level of 81 [ 10-50] scale and a T level of 166 on a 350 -1200 scale and how would lowering T help that?
He answered that if I lose belly fat, E would fall, T would rise.
He did not even think testing E was important , he said the number dont tell much and we could monitor for gyne as a gauge, I should him my recent bruising from gyne surgery for puffy nipples a month earlier, he answered by saying gyne should not be a problem in the future then.
I showed him some info from this and other site, he refused to look at it and called doctor like DR Crisler ''snake oil salesmen' and said there is no medical protocol for giving Ai to men.
My hormone doctor on the other hand is too easy, she agrees with whatever I say and prescribes whatever I ask her for, which is even scarier. She is willing to listen though and LIKES what she reads of Crislers work, she recognized him as an authority on the topic.
I would like to use dr crisler myself, but I am concerned I can get the level of service I need from such a popular doctor that is so far away.
So I will stick with the hormone doctor for treatment, and utilize the endo for blood testing.
On more thing, he said using RHEIN lab would do no good because the number would not have any meaning? ???
I’m new to TRT myself. But it sounds like your endo is an idot. Find a doctor you can work with to get your numbers in line. Anyone would feel nuts, depressed, lethargic ect ect, with the results you posted here…

I am on day 5 of liquid Arimidex, and 3 years into TRT. I can slowly feel the effects of the Arim building.
Guys, you really should try a good AI with your TRT. Doctors who won’t prescribe it or won’t even discuss it (like mine) are simply dooming you.
this is because the AI is typicaly perscribed for something other than controling estro in males.
alot of docs want to go “by the book”
this is what was explained to me when I spoke to an endo
but yes an AI on any amount of hormone therapy should be a given.
it does really make a world of difference
and I just realised that I helped in bumping an oldddddd thread.
This would be a good time to check T & E2.
4 weeks of T-Cyp should now give an accurate read on BW. You could be too low, or still high on E2. Either one would make you feel like $%&#.
4 weeks on t cyp shots, hcg, and AI, I feel no different, perhaps more depression then before. disappointment.

feeling very good as of late, I really think the fact I doubled my does of synthroid helped me alot,
it also takes awhile for the high estradiol symptoms to alleviate even after getting the numbers down. You are not alone in suffering with depression my friend. I felt like i was going insane and my e2 was not nearly as high as your. I am slowly feeling decent again by utlizing .25mg eod arimidex along with my trt which i take as 50mg 2x weekly. I am also in the club that my doc thinks lowering my test dose is the answer and will not listen to evidence to the contrary so for now i have to source teh arimidex myself. I plan to visit Dr. Crisler myself soon.
