Just wanted to see what y’all thought about this or if any of you have ran this scenario(s) in your head.
Recently got prescribed Test at 31yo through a doctor and my insurance covers it (rare!) I pay 5 bucks a month for everything
I haven’t started yet but this lingering thought keeps making me second guess everything.
What would happen if supply chains (worse than COVID imagine) stopped the supply of testosterone or if some crazy SHTF, WW3, societal collapse caused this lifestyle to be unsustainable. It really is bourgeois healthcare in a lot of ways. I’d imagine if you had to come off after years of being on, you’d end up with even lower levels than when you started with (not to mention natural aging as well). If the time came where you’d need to be operationally focused to survive, it seems like you’d be worse off
The Industrial Revolution and its consequences on the male endocrine system have been a disaster. Microplastics and estrogenics in our food supply require us to remedy it through pharmaceuticals.
If this type of situation occurs, testosterone is the least of your worries. If this is keeping you from getting medicine you need, then perhaps you should consider talking to a therapist about anxiety.
When the Nazi zombie hippies attack the earth, the last thing on my mind is going to be ‘where can i get my TRT’? Probably. Maybe I’ll take over a CVS and make that my last stand.
This question gets asked a lot, and I get it, but really having to come off would suck but not life-threatening.
I have about 2 years worth of back up, plus some Nolva in case I need to PCT off. But it’s not something I think about.
You can easily amass a 5+ year supply of high quality UGL testosterone for several hundred dollars if you are really that concerned. It can last many years with proper storage conditions.
If you’re in a position where you NEED TRT, you’ll appreciate all time you got to have it before that situations happens. If that situation happens, you are just going to go back to where you were in the first place.
