Trt off cycles

I’ve been doing trt dose in between cycles. I haven’t been on a cycle about 1 year but still doing trt doses. If I wanted to go to a clinic for trt, or is okay to keep doing my own?

So you’re cruising between blasts. No issue with that.

You could go to a clinic for TRT or you could keep going on your own. Those are your options. Do you want us to pick for you?

Does it matter considering your aim to do blast-TRT on repeat?

I would take the honest route. Go to the clinic and admit that you are self-medicating TRT. Tell them that you would like to continue TRT, but under their guidance and care.

Thank you, that’s what I was thinking I guess I just wanted some advice.

I also was just wondering if there was any difference in what I been doing in a clinic visits.

That all depends on what you are doing.

Have you been getting blood work to see where your Total Testosterone is? If so, when have you been having your blood drawn?

I have my blood drawn on the morning before my next injection. It is known as testing in the trough. This is near the lowest the blood concentration of testosterone is in your system. My doctor wants to see me between 500ng/dL and 900ng/dL. I am usually close to 800ng/dL. So, my Total Testosterone probably averages around 1,000ng/dL. I don’t know what the peak concentration is, but it is much higher than in the trough (just before the next injection.) I accomplish this taking 100mg of testosterone cypionate every fifth day. From what I read on T-Nation most TRT doses are between 100mg and 200mg per week (depending on the doctor’s thinking and lab results.)

I’m doing 200 mg a week

I get blood done in the mornings, I do 100mg on Monday mornings and Thursdays, 200 mg a week. I usually have blood drawn on Saturday, so I won’t do a shot on Thursday. Your readings are good. The reason why I mention trt clinic is because I was thinking if it was better going that root.

I didn’t think it matter was just wondering, I wanted to stop cycling and stay on trt

200 mg per week isn’t TRT. I don’t recommend clinics. If someone were to ask for advice, I’d recommend a urologist who provides TRT.

I know people that’s on 200mg a week, but you think best wsy is through Urologist? I do have appointment Monday for something else with my Urologist, I’ll talk with her about it. Thank you

I started my TRT at 200mg/wk and it tested at 1,300ng/dL. My doctor wanted me in normal range as life extension treatment. And dropped to 140mg/wk, which placed me in the normal range.

I believe most people taking 200mg/wk is near AAS cycle levels (far above normal testosterone levels.)

Just as a reference, my AAS cycles had a base of 200mg/wk of testosterone cypionate. I usually stacked an injectable anabolic and an oral anabolic. 200mg/wk has a significant positive impact on muscle growth.

Oh okay so I should lower it, I’m suppose to be doing bloodwork Saturday, maybe I’ll wait on it. Thank you for your response.

Why do you get blood work on Saturdays and skip the Thursday shot? Your blood work means nothing then. You’re altering your protocol so your labs look “good” but they don’t reflect your actual hormone levels.

If you want an honest picture of your health during AAS/TRT then don’t alter anything before blood work.

Oh okay, I never knew that thanks for letting me know.

Some people are on 200mg /wk

The number of people who genuinely need 200mg is like 1% or less (ultra rapid metabolizers etc)

200mg is sports trt… shoots levels up to supraphysiological territory but not so high it’s immediately dangerous for most (long term it’s not healthy). It provides a boost in muscle mass and strength that is beyond what you’d be capable of attaining normally. TRT is pharmacological replacement that fills in what is deficient back up to where a healthy guy would be at.

That’s generally in the 75-125mg/wk range for most.

If you want TRT go through a legit medical practitioner. If you want a steroid cycle go through the clinics

I agree , my intial TRT dosage started at 100mg a week from the Doctor. At 45 after my levels went to shit after competing and being a pin cushion for a few years ( with PCT ). Had to fight for an increase to 150mg after bloodwork. I think anything over that and it’s not really TRT

What T value does that give you? 150 would give me abnormally high values. 100 gives me 700 to 1000 ng/dl on any day tested.
