Endurance athlete here who lifts. Not a body builder but I can throw weights around. My doctor put me on TRT last year. Was nearly passing out during long distance events. Happened twice. Almost 0 free T although T was “normal”. A little over 300. Didn’t get tested for a year and just got my results. On a topical cream. T now is 31,000 supposedly? Seems crazy to me. Never heard of T this high.
Wondering if sample was contaminated. My doctor said to take very other day and I’ll see her in 2 weeks. Thoughts?
Edit: this website wont let me reply to any topics. Thank you all for the responses. Why do are you all against topical creams? is it more difficult to dose? And it looks like I need to have my doctor run a different test as this must be a bad test result, and not numbers that are off the charts
First, I’m not a fan of topicals. Second, why would your doc not test you for a year? Need a new doc. Third, it’s probably a lab error. Was it a lab draw from a reputable lab or one of those saliva thingys?
Dallas McCarver had a test showing like 55,000 around his death, so I’m going to venture that this is either a bunk lab test or you got some olympia wannabe’s labs.
This is what happens when you take biotin supplements, you get erroneous lab readings. A lot of lab testing uses biotin-streptavidin and this limitation is for most immunoassay testing methods.
