A thousand of you come here asking the identical questions even though there is a search engine in upper right corner that will answer any question. I was gonna help you out if you took it like a man.

sorry I messed up. they 0.5

Dr just prescribed me arimidex. Does any1 think it will help?

Have been on tamoxifen and it does nothing for gyno. Getting worse and noticed some iyching.

Have you had any FT or SHBG tests done since beginning TRT ? On your pre TRT labs your TT was at 278 but your FT was 6.9 with a range of 1.7 - 8.6. That indicates that you’re a guy with very low SHBG that’s probably below range. Adding TRT can reduce SHBG further.

There are a lot of guys with low SHBG who complain about estrogenic fat deposits and a poor response to TRT, even though their FT levels are through the roof. For some reason, the Estrogen becomes dominant. I’ve seen 3 guys with below range SHBG who said that their faces looked like a child. They also seem to do better with lower E2 levels.

These are just observations from reading forums. The science is not really clear.

SHBG can be low because of heredity, or it can be low due to insulin resistance. My own SHBG rose from 16.9 to 34.5 after switching to the Atkins diet which decreases insulin. You might want to google TRT with low SHBG. There are guys with similar symptoms.
