How well-supported is the body temperature-hypogonadism connection in the absence of bloodwork abnormalities? I can’t find any relevant research.

Sub-normal body temperatures could indicate thyroid issues. Thyroid issues have been shown to lower testosterone. Testing body temps and seeing if they improve with iodine replenishment is a cheap and simple way to rule possible issues out.
