I went to my endo recently and got my T levels checked. It came back that my T levels were 471, and I am 20 years old. He said this is “normal range” although I don’t believe him. I’m thinking my T levels should be closer to 700.
It’s been about a year now that I had half of my thyroid removed. I had a goiter in half of my thyroid and they said it was there for about 5 years. After I got it removed I gained about 20 lbs and maybe grew an inch, they also put me on 50 mg of levothyroxine. What I’m wondering is maybe I’m stuck at some stage of puberty? I’ve heard that hypothyroidism can interfere with puberty and that getting it fixed sometimes starts puberty back again and sometimes hormone replacement is needed.
How would I get my doc to prescribe me TRT or HcG?
I also told him I have
-low libido
-weak erections
-varicocele
I’m wondering if the varicocele is what is causing me to not complete puberty naturally and restore my T levels up to what they should be.
