TRT Failure. How to Get Off TRT Properly?

Some guys can take longer to restore pituitary function back to where it was pre-TRT. A small percentage don’t restore pituitary function after TRT.

Your problem is LH, it’s low.

Well you went on TRT, so your pituitary wasn’t functioning well to begin with. So now you’re back to where you started

If I’m back to where I started then why is my ED is much, much worse than before TRT?

ED is multi-factorial, hormones being one piece

Zinc has been linked to anxiety and anger as well as depression. If your zinc is low which alot of people are then you can try supplementing with high doses to bring your levels up, try 50mg of elemental zinc (eg. zinc gluconate 50mg is only 15% elemental zinc so more like 7mg) for about 1 month daily and see how you feel, no harm in trying.

Thanks but I am, and have been taking zinc during TRT, 30-90mg elemental… And 2-6mg copper.

That amount of copper could be preventing you from correcting a zinc imbalance, try cutting out the copper for a month and stick with the zinc to see if it gets better. Ideal you can get zinc, copper and Ceruloplasmin tested at Labcorp or quest to see where you are at and how the supplementation changes your levels, you can use Mag-Zinc-Copper Panel Test Online | Affordable | Request A Test to order the test, its fairly cheap and will allow you to accurately track your levels.

that’s a good resources to show ideal levels for good overall health.

My blood zinc and copper are and were low-ish, despite of that amount of zinc/copper supplemented. Thats a mystery to me. Then someone said that zinc can actually accelerate hair loss, so I wasn’t taking it for several months. Didn’t notice much difference on any fronts though…
