TRT Doctors in Connecticut

Can someone recommend a good TRT doctor in Connecticut? Thanks.

Did you read the sticky “find a TRT doc”?

If you don’t live far from NYC (eg, Stamford, CT), I highly recommend seeing the andrologist Natan Bar Chama in Manhattan. Most of his clientele is made up of those who have hypogonadism or infertility. Might want to check out Harris Nagler, who’s also an andrologist, but I’m not sure if he practices anymore because he recently became CEO of Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan.

Please help things out. Does he take any insurance? Does he write scripts or sells drugs? What protocols does he use? What does he refuse to do?

Accepts most insurance. I was almost about to see him before I went to my current guy, and he is considered amongst the urologists I do know to FIRST RATE; his specialty is hypogonadism and fertility. He writes prescriptions. I’m not sure what you mean by “scripts” versus “sell drugs”. I’m not sure what he refuses to do, but he has a stellar rep in getting people fixed up.

Thank you for the info. I appreciate it. I am currently on T-therapy and taking cypionate. My doctor is not willing to go more than 140 mg per week. My total T-level on the last day (before my next shot) is 665 ng/dL. I want to go upto 200 mg/week (max). Please help me finding a doctor who is open with dosage.

Brick: There are predatory docs who supply the drugs, swabs, needle or whatever at very high costs. That is the “scripts” versus “sell drugs” concern.

Oh, I see now. These guys don’t sell drugs. I don’t think they’re in the position to do that either becuase of their high profile statuses.

As you know, I’ve had success with my guy, and actually two posters here are now seeing him.
