I’d assume my BP is a little higher than normal, but my resting heart rate is normal (50-58 sleeping)
I’m doing 1 hour of cardio daily around 130bpm and I walk about 15K steps a day
My training split
Chest - Back - Legs - Shoulders - Arms
I’ve found I’m potentially doing too much with training and the steps and cardio so I backed off a bit on training everyday with weights.
Now I’m doing
Chest - Back - Rest - Legs - Rest - Shoulders - Arms - Rest.
Cardio is done daily even on rest days no matter what
And repeat, no longer having fatigue issues and my pumps are mental.
I’m about to add in Cialis and start cutting. Cialis for overall bp reduction and of course the insane pumps, sleep benefits. I’ll be doing 2.5mg daily in a tablet.
I really am just curious if anybody thinks I should lower dose at all, any advice ? Clearly my HCT is elevated my doc said introduce AI (I haven’t been using) and that was really the only thing they suggested.
By the numbers you could prob go to up a bit. I’m assuming your taking testE or testC?
Your estrogen is nowhere near out of control so I would not take an AI unless you had symptoms.
Lowering your BF will in turn help keep estrogen conversion down.
Donating blood will also help manage HCT.
I think the biggest factor here is your bodyfat. I think if you can get it down your bloodwork number will improve greatly. At the end of the day for where you are currently your numbers are not bad.
Don;t assume on your BP. Check it. Long term elevated BP is a great way to destroy your kidneys.
Test C, and yeah you’re right I need to get a BP cuff. That’s definitely the goal is to cut down and hopefully it’ll help align everything. I won’t increase my dose for at least 6 months and hopefully by then I’ll be down to 20% ish or less BF
Not saying he should, just saying he could. I’m also not suggesting going to 250mg/wk but maybe at 50mg/wk to his protocol.
His test is not binding. His total is still lowish. The only issue I see is the HCT. Would need a little more info regarding that. Does he live at elevation?
Once his BF comes down his aromatization should start to decrease a bit.
My only thoughts are that things seem to be going well for him and the numbers don’t indicate necessity of an increase. Also, the two bio markers dicusseed could get worse with an increase.
I live in Montana around 4,500 feet idk if that would move HCT that much. And my previous bloodwork (from a different lab) had me below 50. And I definitely appreciate all advice. But I sure won’t be increasing anything until I’m sitting in the green zone. And I’m honestly not trying to maximize my dose, so far 120Mg has put me back to “normal” which is my whole goal for TRT. Just wanna get that HCT down. Lose some fat, and get E2 down.
I really am fighting the urge to eat like a maniac cause I’m putting on size and metabolism is increasing. But I wanna cut. Might implement some 3 day fasts here and there and really try to get that scale to lower.
Solid plan. I like it. More isn’t better for many. Lots of guys think increasing dose means feeling better or chasing the initial honeymoon phase. More may mean a bit of an edge in the gym, but other than that it can actually make you feel worse.
