Trt blood results

Hi everyone

I’m using test cyp 250ml 0.5ml twice a week, I got some blood tests done to check my levels but to be honest I don’t understand it.

I spoke to a friend who recommended taking
proviron 25mg 1 per day
aromasin 25mg 1 per day

Due to get my bloods done again in a week or so to see if this has helped.
If not what’s my best options on getting my levels correct moving forward.
Thanks in advance

This is not good advice… Proviron is going to lower your SHBG even more… As far as the aromasin, i am not super familiar, but every day use is probably not advised…

You didnt even tell us how you feel, or your symptoms… You just said… I got labs, i dont understand. If these were my labs, and i felt fine, i would leave it alone. Assuming your CBC is ok?

If you dont feel well, you have room to lower your testosterone dose.

To be honest I feel fine, i just want to get everything in check as this is new to me and know a lot of people who don’t even do blood tests, I just want to make sure I’m doing everything right
I just want to get my levels stabilised and go from there

If I’m honest it took me ages to find I had low t and I felt better using t but then did the blood work and then was lost with how to rectify the blood work for everything to be how it should,
Is there anywhere I can get bloods done and have some advice on the results?

Lowering your dose and not using any other drugs.

What does your doctor have to say versus strangers on the net (no, I’m not being sarcastic)?

I’d be pretty sure that’s the issue, no doctor. He looks to be UK based and I can’t see any providers giving 250ml per week straight out of the gate, or using Medichecks (they’re fine just the Drs like to make money from getting you to do their providers), not many here giving Test-C either.

Doctors say my levels are fine but when I did a private check think it was medichecks they were low
I just want to do it the right way with blood work etc rather than like a few people I know just test and not a care in the world

This is the right way in most cases.

FSH/LH will always be approx 0 when taking Testosterone. Thats normal for TRT. The rest of your values with exception of SHBG are too high. Quite frankly your dose is just too high. Taking priviron or an oral steroid will lower your SHBG further. Do not do this.

Assume that was NHS? Post up your original results that led you down the TRT route.

There are private medical options for TRT in the UK, almost guaranteed to be better than the NHS, I’d definitely suggest you have a doctor involved in your treatment as right now you’re on a mild steroid cycle (no judgement if that’s what you actually wanted to do) and taking advice from a friend who isn’t qualified to do so, and clearly has you second guessing, which is why you’re here, asking advice from internet strangers.
