My doc suggested trt after my blood work showed my test level at 281. I’m 34 6’4" 245 when I started. Was 21% bf. I take 1 cc or 200mg 1 a week. After 6 weeks and no change in diet I put on 11lbs. I did start lifting heavier than I was before but I kept my cardio the same. 25-30min eod
I see the doc Friday and I’m going to ask him whats going on. My energy levels are good and I eat clean. High protein/low carbs. Any info is appreciated.
It is most likely water weight, what is your complete protocol? Are you taking an AI? HCG? Elevated E2 (from not taking an AI) will make you hold water. Please read the stickies
1 cc a week and Friday I’ll get more blood work. No hcg or AI as of yet but I’ll ask him. I’ve gone threw a bunch of the sticks already.
I notice this too…weight will go up easily and will stay the same no matter how many calories I decrease…however I can tell most of the weight is water and muscle, but it blows not being able to cut some fat…
fyi My protocol is 90mg test cyp / week and I have not ever tested my E2 but I suspect it is high based on some other symptoms…
That’s a beast of a dose. You need some labs. My prediction is that you end up seriously cutting back or adding an AI.
I got more labs done yesterday. He gave me HCG 1x a week. I think it’s 1500mg I got arimidex 3x a week. I’m not sure on the strength. He switched my from test c to test E. Still 1 cc per week. I’ll know more on Tuesday. The pharmacy is shipping it to me.
You have everything you need to try the protocol in the “TRT: protocol for injections” sticky If you choose. I’m somewhat green but that would be my recommendation. As you study I bet you will come to the same conclusions laid out in that information.
Look carefully at the HCG doses and schedule. Since your doctor is so balls out on the doses do your own research, especially on the AI. It seems like guys can really derail things by driving your e2 way down. This would greatly increase your time spent dialing in.
