So - I thought I’d share my experience and a pubmed brief (there a number of other studies as well).
I was diagnosed with epilepsy about 10 years ago, and have had 3-4 seizures (on average) per year over that time frame. Last year, I was also diagnosed with low-test, and have been taking 100mg per week Test-Cyp injected IM.
I am now seizure free for 14 months, which is my longest period ever.
Test levels have stabilized at 495 total and 182 free. Feel great. Lifting has improved marginally (nice side effect) to 5 wheels dead, 4 squat, 265 clean, and 250 bench.
But the big thing is that I haven’t had a seizure in 14 months! Happens to have coincided to beginning TRT. My neurologist is sufficiently intrigued that he is starting some research and shared with me yesterday that of his 30-50 year old epilepsy patients, more than 75% of them have low testosterone.
This could be a breakthrough in epilepsy treatment and overall quality of life in a disease that as of yet does not have a cure.

I believe it 100%!
My wife has epilepsy and is typically fine cause her high dose meds (which she wants to lower on her own but she’s scared to and i don’t blame her), but she went to the Dr months ago and they said her test levels were very low, even for a female.
In other words I’ve been trying to get her to take <100mg test e subq weekly, and I’m trying to get her to do that because I’m a firm believer that low test can contribute/trigger epilepsy, if not onset/cause epilepsy.
She went 3 years seizure free and out of the blue started having them, frequently, and then ironically the only thing other than her LDL being a lil elevated, and a lil “extra” weight put on, her test was pretty low and that’s all they could find, (can’t remember the number right off the top of my head, but low enough for her Dr to want to address it).
I’ve read many articles and forum posts of guys talking about it, getting excited, and having hope, but the meatheads overrule it as just “bro science”, but that’s how ppl are that don’t have to deal with epilepsy.
I also wanna mention that up until 6yrs ago, she was 110lbs, and I’m not just doing this cause she’s my girl, but she was the cock in the gym that the females looked up to, she always got abused of using steroids but i can vouch for her cause the only thing i can get her to take is b12, and that’s not often, lol.
But anyways, your story is awesome man!
Just keep on doing what you’re doing and I wish you more seizure free years to come!
God bless you and take care of yourself.

Just wanting to wish you well, my daughter has intractable epilepsy and it’s a full on shit show.
Interestingly I’m on TRT gel and it clearly states on the medication leaflet its use linked to an increase in seizures, might just be the testogel that I’m on. Nonetheless I am glad it’s working for you
