Just got my blood work results in and curious what others think. Taking 150MG/Wk Test C via SubQ injections in divided doses Mon night (75MG)& Fri Morning (75mg) put me TT 879, FT 24.5 and Estradiol at 20.8. Take .25mg of Anastrozole EOD. Thought for sure my TT level would of been higher. Took my test approx. 3 days after my last injection.
Might bump it up to 50MG EOD and see if that gets me to the 1000 TT range. Feel pretty good, not super horny, but see good results in the mirror. Anyone else on a higher dosage but not super high T levels? Got diagnosed with Low T and was first put on androgel 1.62 4 pumps a day. Only got my TT up to 224 from 153. Then got prescribed injections
Switched to 150mg IM with bi-weekly shots of 75mg. .25 mg of anastrozole eod. Total t at 888 and estriadol at 10.8. Did take a anastrozole just before my blood work so maybe why my estriadol was low. I know there has been some debate Btwn IM and sub q T levels. My t level was almost identical, but estriadol was half.
I think that with my T level only being 9 points different btwn IM and subq injections, there is no difference btwn the two. I know there has been much debate that IM absorbs better which results in a higher level. I’m currently doing 50Mg EOD and .25mg of anastrozole 2x weekly. will retest in a month or so and post results. Bummer that my sex drive is not better. When I was on androgel it was off the hook. Wife was getting pissed at me hounding her all the time.
latest update, 50mg EOD Subq dosing. Total T came back at 770 and E came in at 12.7. Adex at .25MG EOD. Switched back to IM injections of 180MG per week in divided doses and .25 MG of AI 2x per week. Result was 727 TT and 27.9 E… Can’t figure out the drop in T levels. Test taken 3 days after last injection…
I don’t see any hCG in your protocol and I can only assume how long you’ve been on TRT but I’m guessing about 6-8 months now judging by your post dates. If this is the case then your numbers may have been higher due to some testicular contribution to testosterone levels. This has since completely stopped and is now exogenous only.
I get TT of 883 on half the testosterone with 200iu hCG EOD.
SC and IM are both 100% absorbed, its the release curves that differ with the same area under the curve. Some have reported that they feel better one way VS other.
Lab results may always have their own variability and that noise may swamp the signal that you are looking for.
T dose can be scaled by body weight 225lg/160lb [reference]. Not deep science, but seems to make sense in some cases. Some guys simply metabolize T more than others.
I am taking 250IU of HCG EOD. Started the HCG after the 879 and 888 tests. So it seems my levels have gone down after starting HCG and increasing t. I weigh 245LBS and with maybe 13% body fat. Currently trying 80MG E3d’s IM with 27G insulin syringe in the quad. Will retest levels in 2 weeks and post results.
I’d be less concerned about your T values and would concentrate on your E2 for now. You had the standard E2 test done, which is not very accurate when measuring the low E2 values that are found in men. If often overstates E2 values significantly. The sensitive assay is much more appropriate.
When my standard E2 value was ~28, my sensitive E2 value was in the single digits.

Thanks for the reply KSman, Feel pretty good, sex drive is not really off the hook but I’ve been working night watch for the last few months so I don’t get to bed till about 3AM and kind of tired and sluggish through the day. Have not checked my thyroid but body temp is 97.7.
Just got back my latest complete blood work and I’m pretty happy. I think I finally have everything dialed in. Switched back to Subq Inj at 80MG E3D and .25mg of Anastrozole EOD. Feel really good, its been a couple months on this protocol. TT 934, FT 49.2 and Estradiol at 19.8. All other blood work great with no flags. PSA negative… After switching dosage, IM to subq and back, this is working great. Morning wood off the hook and great sex drive.
