Thanks for the info @charlie12, I appreciate it. My pill bottle is just one from the pharmacy, so it doesn’t have that info.
Just had my appointment this morning. my Dr doesn’t run the most comprehensive bloods, but on 90mg armour thyroid for about 5 weeks, my TSH dropped from 3.53 to 0.8. He’s happy with that number, so we’re staying there.
I’ve been injecting 40mg EOD subq and today at through, my TT was 602. This is lower than it was on 60mg e3.5 days. I know @physioLojik mentioned taking armour can speed up the metabolism of drugs.
I wonder if armour is speeding that up for me and test is clearing out faster.
Glad to hear you are feeling good on your protocol, your numbers look good at 50x2. If it ain’t broke and your feeling good, roll with it, right?

Looks good man, and like you said, you have plenty of room for a small decrease if that’s what you feel is necessary.
I would expect someone with low thyroid hormone to metabolize testosterone more slowly and higher thyroid hormone to increase the metabolism of testosterone. The same is true for other hormones such as bilirubin clearance, studies show faster clearance of other hormones of hyperthyroid patients and the slower clearance when a patient has hypothyroidism.
Thanks for the reply @systemlord, appreciate it.
It must be what’s happening, since 40mg EOD equates to 140mg a week. My prescribed dose is 120mg a week, and there I’ve had TT readings that ranged from 660 - 690, which was pre-armour.
I upped the dose on my own to try it and liked it.
All this stuff is so fascinating. Thanks for letting me post here @charlie12, didn’t mean to intrude on your thread.

Another random question - doc said my prolactin was elevated. Not over the top of the range, but right at it. We had discussion about libido/sensitivity and time to orgasm. I’d say I’ve been below average in all those categories.
He recommended I start taking cabergoline. Does anyone here have experience taking cabergoline?
@charlie12 @systemlord @NH_Watts @anon10035199 @alldayeveryday?
What do you think about cabergoline @physioLojik?
Sorry again Charlie, and thanks in advance.
I do not but I believe I remember physio talking about it positively. Have you tried a search in his posts for that criteria?
No experience, but I thought physio spoke negatively of it.
I think you can use a specific B vitamin to lower it also.
I did a rough search since I’m on my phone now, but that is a good idea for when I get back to a PC. Your numbers over on your thread look great by the way. Glad you are feeling good at those numbers without an AI.

Oooo… okay, this is good info too. I’m going to have to dig into the forum archives to see.
Thanks again
A quick search will probably find it. I feel like it was b6. But not sure.

Found some quick info after I searched Cabergoline and Physio’s handle…not good:
“Oh for instance cabergoline causes neurological changes that could be permanent. You think messing with your dopamine doesn’t have side effects?”
Gives me pause to want to even try this once.

I wouldn’t think prolactin would be a problem even if slightly over the ranges, more than likely testosterone and estrogen ratios are to blame for erectile issues. When my Total T is midrange and estrogen midrange erections happen, not so when estrogen is over the top.
@bcostigan41 use b6. Start at 100mg x 2 a day for a week. Then drop to 100mg a day.
Add 1500 mg tyrosine in the mornings.

Never a problem. Post away.
My prolactin was just slightly over the range. It’s stable though. So is my igf 1. My Dr said no need for concern. I will recheck those two things later in the spring.
Just trying to figure out my cold hands situation. Just re started armour so let’s see if it resolve that. I literally am sitting at my desk. Hands feel fine. Then cold. Its wierd. And it correspond with oral temp. Was 98.2 felt good. When hands cold just under 97.9 . @physioLojik
And still got slight pain since endoscopy. I stopped all meds - omperazole, sucralfate. If pain continue or gets worse back to Dr. My endoscopy was 2/6. More than enough time to heal.
Thank you for the response @physioLojik, I appreciate it. I’d rather take vitamins than something that could mess up my dopamine receptors permanently.
I even asked about side effects… He told me that some men experience confusion while on cabergoline, but it’s just about 100% side effect free… And shouldn’t have a negative impact on how I’m feeling.
I’ll try B6 first.
Is this right
Tyrosine for anxiety
5 htp for depression/mood?
I need to save this.
I have the Google keep app and save this shit for future reference.
Some light reading for you
