So went to see Endo today.
She asked to see me after lab work.
Being I have slightly elevated calcium levels and igf1 she is checking to make sure I don’t have Acromegaly. She doubts i have it.
Funny thing is acromegaly would explain my surprise cardiomyopathy. And it would indicate a tumor near pituitary. Which can explain secondary hypogonadism.
I did have a mri 2 years ago without contrast. That was negative.
I will continue metformin.
So to check for Acromegaly it is a glucose tolerance test that checks Growth hormone, glucose , insulin during the 3 hour test.
I believe my igf1 is slightly elevated cause of TRT. My igf was 246 (76-216)
