I’m new here but have a good amount of experience with cycles for 10+ years. I was not able to post this question on the main topics so this is the next best one I could find.
I have traveled to Europe, United States, South America by plane and on cruises with my Test E in an insulin vial with insulin syringes all packed into an insulin ready pouch so it looks legit. I even packed a blood sugar monitor in there to make it seem more real. I have never had any issues traveling to these countries and taking my Test with me in this way. It is the best I could think of lol.
However, in January of next year 2024 I’m traveling to the Philippines and parts of southeast Asia. I have read from numerous posts and people online that the Philippines does not mess around when it comes to drugs. I have heard of Vitamin C bottles being taken from travelers due to “Potential mislabeling” as hiding another drug in that bottle. This amongst other stories have made me kind of sketched out as to if my method of putting the Test in an insulin vial will work. Coming off is not an option as I have been blasting and cruising for more than a decade and will feel miserable the entire month I will be there if I do that.
Any suggestions? Opinions? Ideas? All I could think of is to crash my test to get a script for TRT by then but this will cost money and also cause me to crash my test for a while. This would be a last resort option. Thanks all for taking the time to read my question. Any input would be appreciated!
@hel320 travels there often (but not with gear I must add). Maybe he can comment on the entry process and how thorough they are.
Having traveled to a number of places in this region, this is not something I would be doing or recommend in any way.
I go through there and other SE Asian counties every so often…would highly recommend not risking it. At best, you’ll be rinsed for bribes; at worst…
No one can account for some random agent being super motivated that day and taking a special interest.
Get on TRT properly.
Find a local source in the Philippines (esp in Manilla) on Facebook / online and stick to Test only. Have it dropped off at your hotel day before you arrive. You can buy syringes etc at any local pharmacy.
I assume you’re either going through Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) or Davao International. I travel to and from the Philippines twice a year and go through Manila. I carry a lot of OTC medicine and vitamins to give to family members. Most stores do not have an OTC section and you have to go through a Pharmacy to get even an aspirin. Vitamins are very expensive. (They love B12 for their fighting roosters). I’ve never had any luggage, checked or carry-on, searched or inspected. Ex- President Duterte did do a very serious crack down on illegal drugs directed mainly on the street dealers but I’ve never heard of a confiscation for “Potential Mislabeling”. He did a crack down on scams being run by custom officials and workers, too. at airports which greatly improved getting through the airport. I’ve several ex-pat firends who travel to and from the PI who are diabetic and carry their supplies with them. Never been a problem. That’s all I can contribute. Enjoy your trip.
