Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen

If that tiny little boom box looking thing was supposed to be Sound Wave then I have to say Fail on that one. I think it’s in the best interest for both the movie goers and the film crew to try to follow the storyline as much as the cartoon as possible. After all, it is what we as movie goers will judge it on. I thought Megatron should have been the cannon he was in the original series.
that little boom box was NOT soundwave.
they wanted to hold off on making soundwave until they could do it right, or that was said anyways.
it was my mistake I thought maybe it was but it was infact Frenzy
who in the classic cartoons was one of soundwaves little micro cassette tapes.

speaking of megatron, who was always the one to shoot him when he turned into the pistol.
it was one of the jets I thought.

A 20 foot tall robot turns into a tiny hand held gun? I am not sure if you have seen any of those old cartoons lately, but we let a ton of shit slide as kids without even asking questions.

How about a tank that can shoot without any assistance? I think most of the recent incarnations of Megatron have him as a tank.

Yea both X and Big Boss have a point. Shit I hate when I am wrong.

That’s exactly why they made him a tank in the new movie, because Bay wanted to be able to bring back the iconic cannon; I wonder if it’s also a little throwback to the animated movie where Galvatron was a tank, and a 2nd coming of Megatron.

I am still praying that when Devastator first forms in the movie they use his line from the cartoons. If I hear, “Prepare for devastation” I will probably have all sorts of chills of nostalgia.

Awesome trailer.

I like how Hollywood seems to be going with the “Nostalgia for males aged 25-35” theme recently. Two Transformer movies, GI Joe…Thundercats would have potential if done right.
Men with jobs and disposable income. Same Demographic Hooters shoots for.

Ok, the trailer looks sick, and I will definitely be seeing this in the theaters. I still miss the clean lines and fast transformations of the of the originals. These transformers sure won’t be winning any beauty contests any time soon.

I don’t care how much Micheal Bay sucks, you just can’t fuck up Megan Fox and GIANT FUCKING ROBOTS.

Not even with Shia LeBouef.
