I almost get the feeling that the IOC almost wanted to punish the US for its blunder in the financial mess. This is my gut feeling, might just be gas though.
Let Rio pay for the bill it’s not like our country is floating in extra cash. Plus, if you really want to go to the Olypmics you get an awesome vacation out of it.
