ACWORTH, Georgia (AP) – They could barely see over the courtroom table, and their legs were too short to reach the floor: An 8-year-old and two 9-year-old boys, accused of raping an 11-year-old neighbor.
A girl, 11, says three boys, ages 8 and 9, raped her in a field behind this Acworth, Georgia, apartment complex.
The case sent shockwaves through this community some 30 miles north of Atlanta, particularly in the working class apartment complex where the children live.
“It’s just hard to understand,” said Chris Ware, who has lived in the complex three years.
The boys are accused of forcing a girl they were playing with into a litter-strewn wooded area behind the complex Thursday. She said she was threatened with a rock, and that one of the boys raped her, according to Acworth Police Chief Mike Wilkie."
You can have sex at 5 and it has nothing to do with T. Somebody should really check the surroundings of that 8 and 9 year old more than likely theres heavy child abuse going around, likely to happen to another 8 and 9 year old.

That was my first thought exactly. On a side note, my 10 year old brother was making fun of me the other day for watching a victorias secret commercial.
I was able to get an erection pretty easy at a young age. My ex-girlfriend always laughs talking about her 4 year old son hopping out the bath tub with an erection.
I just watched the video in the article. Something severely doesn’t smell right about this whole story.
For one, the ability of boys that age to sexually “function” (Hello??! Huge red flag. Has this ever happened before with a boy that young)?? For another, would they even know at that age what sex was? (Maybe, but still – could they perform it)? Also, although I would never claim to be an expert reader of people based solely on their demeanor, and everyone reacts to trauma differently, the girl sure seemed calm and collected about the whole thing. For a rape victim? An 11-YEAR-OLD who was allegedly just raped . . . ?

Three boys, one 8-year-old and two 9-year-olds, were charged with kidnapping, rape, false imprisonment and sexual assault after an 11-year-old girl accused them of attacking her in the woods behind the apartment complex where the children live. Capt. Wayne Dennard of the Acworth Police Department north of Atlanta said the girl told officers she was playing with the boys on Thursday when they lured her into the woods and raped her. �??The investigators who are working the case are confident that they have evidence to support the charges,�?? Captain Dennard said. But the father of one of the accused third-grade boys told The Associated Press that what happened was consensual.
I don’t know what happened… I don’t know if they were playing doctor and the girl got scared, but does the father really think it is okay to say it was consensual?
