I am just using those above ratios as a guide. On Kauai there are more men than women. Also many of the 18-35 year group leave for school and never come back. Then the gym truly is when I work or workout is about 10 guys to 1 woman. On some nights there might be 8 guys working out and no women at the gym at all. Well at least I have no distractions when I workout.
