He starred in the two most successful musicals of all time: “Saturday Night Fever” and “Grease.” He owned a percentage of Grease I believe. He also did some other somewhat notable movies such as “Urban Cowboy.” And before those hits he was a regular on the TV show “Welcome Back Kotter.”
He’s a millionaire many many times over. I’m not saying that he is not reaping a harvest from Scientology, as I have no idea. But it strikes me that he and the other big names might just be putting money in rather than taking it out.
There are other far brighter people who are at the top of that “pyramid.”

Travolta, Cruise and the other Hollywood stars don’t put money in.
It is part of the strategy. They use the stars to attract the suckers that foot the bill.
I have read a bunch of mainstream magazine articles as well as the anti-Scientologist websites.
These Hollywood stars get a combination of money and other perks from the “church”. The whole thing is incredibly corrupt.
