Napoleon complex

Napoleon complex is a colloquial term describing a type of inferiority complex which is said to affect some people who are physically short. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives. This term is also known as Napoleon syndrome and Small Man syndrome.
The Napoleon complex is named after French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. The conventional wisdom is that Napoleon overcompensated for his short height by seeking power, war and conquest. However, Napoleon was actually average height for his time period. The perception that Napoleon was short may be related to his often being seen with his Imperial Guard, which was above average height.
Oh, so now youre making psychological diagnoses based on a few posts on an internet forum?[/quote]
Actually it appears to be a physiological diagnosis. I think he is calling you short and fat.
I’m not even going to read the crap that’s been spewed in this thread.
Fact: Brady just set single season records for most TD passes, threw a record 23 TD’s to teammate Randy Moss, was the main contributor to the Patriots scoring the most points in the history of the NFL, and orchestrated the first 16-0 regular season in the history of football.
He could be banging Enrique Inglesias in the pooper every Sunday in preparation of each game and I couldn’t give two shits. He’s the best quarterback to ever play football and is in the midst of one of the most impressive runs of team football ever, he’s the fucking man.

Allow me to recap:
Boy with large collection of homoerotic images calls out one of the best NFL quarterbacks in history. Quarterback proceeds to throw 50th TD pass (NFL record). Boy continues search for pro athlete themed gay porn.

Sorry, what about that paragraph is bullshit? Are you telling me a perfect regular season (with the postseason still to be played) plus 3 championships (might be 4) in just 7 years isn’t one of the most impressive runs in NFL history?
People will question the fact that Brady is the best QB ever (through 7 seasons…I should have specified, sorry), and that’s fine. He still has a number of years left, but thus far he’s had the most impressive first 7 seasons ever. Three championships in 6 years (could be 4 in 7 by the end of this season). Two Super Bowl MVPs in 6 seasons (so far…we’ll see about this year). The highest QB rating through 7 seasons ever (92.4, higher than Manning, Young, Marino, Montana, anyone). Until this season he hasn’t had a consistent Pro Bowl receiver on his side–Manning’s had Harrison and Wayne, Montana had Clark then Rice, Young had Rice, Marino had Clayton. And one overlooked item when judging the best QB’s: he plays in New England, where the winters are brutal and ratings suffer. Tell me Manning (dome), Montana (SF), Young (SF), or Marino (MIA) ever had it that difficult in December.
Long post short: we’re watching the best quarterback ever.

he has always had one damn impressive offensive line, he never gets rattled since he always has immense protection.

Plus he had what would be the equivilant of a perfect game in baseball against Buffalo
54 for 68 - 684 Yards - 9 TDS and Zero Ints. 148.2 QB rating
The guy is good, real good. And from what I’ve seen on TV he seems like a pretty good guy.
I think it’s funny that the guy from England agrees that he’s gay.Has no clue who he is just thinks he’s gay based off of instincts.I used to think Tom Brady was the shit when they won their first Super Bowl because he was this unknown kid who was just good.Fast-forward a few years and he’s posing in magazines with a goat. There will always be arguments over who the best quarterback in the history of football is and Brady is definitely one of them and no one can argue that the Patriots are on a damn impressive run and just pulled off an undefeated season. That being said I can’t stand Tom Brady.
Has anyone else noticed that every time he gets tackled or every time he throws an incomplete or they don’t convert on 3rd down(VERY RARE)he throws a damn hissy-fit?I’m not gonna comment on his relationships with super-models because I don’t know the truth but still he posed with a damn goat.I think he is a prima donna or however you spell it and if the Patriots ever fall from their spot atop the NFL he’ll whine and bitch until the cows come home.

Wrong, but you can believe it if you want. How about the fact that he was sacked 41 times, 5th highest in the league, in 2001. In subsequent seasons it’s gone like this: 31, 32, 26, 26…league average sack totals if I’ve ever seen them. And have you ever watched Brady in the pocket before? If there’s one single thing that I’d say he’s the absolute, unquestioned best at it’s his pocket presence. Last night was a PERFECT example. The Giants D-line was killing the Patriots, consistent pressure the entire game. Look at the rushing numbers for the Pats, the front 7 was absolutely tearing the Patriots line up. And yet Brady was sacked just once. That wasn’t the line, not even a bit. That was all Brady, moving around the pressure, getting rid of it before he got hit, and just knowing when/where he had to move.

I hate agreeing with this guy but pressure was getting to brady every other play, and what did they have 7 yards rushing? The best offense, like i said, probubly but I refuse to give him the title of best quarterback ever yet. I have never been really aw struck by him, yea hes got good numbers and yea hes got a great post season record but some of the greats I watch and my jaw just drops…How the fuck did he do that, how is he this good? I dont get that with brady. idk why the fuck I’m even posting its impossible to decide this one way or the other, theres too many factors and opinions that go into something like this. QBs get way too much credit when shit goes good and when shit goes bad, its bullshit. Ofcourse hes a fucking great quaterback if anyone says hes not they’re just saying that b/c they hate the patriots (for good reason of course).
Lets just hope they lose in the playoffs and this season gets burried under Spygate and the fact that their perfect season means absolutley nothing because they didnt win the game that matters.

We’ll see. It’s been a good 7 years, but it’s only been seven years. Also, the Superbowl wins are TEAM wins, not his. Without Vinatieri, who knows how many rings he’d have.
Montana won 4 Superbowls in nine years. Bradshaw won four in six years. Bart Starr won five championships in seven years, including three straight. Otto Graham went to the championship game ten straight years winning seven.
His stats outside of this year are just above average, very Matt Hasselbeck-like. They’re decent for a good starter.
I’m not knocking him. Even with only seven years, he’s probably still top ten. But let’s see where his career ends before calling him the greatest ever. Other than quarterbacking the 16-0 season, which won’t mean much if they don’t win the Superbowl, he hasn’t done anything other greats haven’t done, too. I’m not ready to crown him yet.
