I did the Iron Tiger last year. Its not really a pure strength competition. Its more of an endurance event.

First off, thanks for making me physically ill with your description of the Hot and Cold Carl.
I have friends that went there, I live in Greenville. Right now I train at Sportsclub (no lunk alarms yet thank god). I was a PT there for years until I switched jobs. I still teach CPR classes for them so I get to workout there for free.
