Yes, that picture does exhibit the results of a lot of dedication and hard work. I have a hard time calling it a high level of fitness, though. I do not find it attractive, but that’s not the point. Good on her for her results. If that’s what she wants, then more power to her. But that’s not my bag, and if any woman were looking for inspiration to work harder or whatever, I certainly wouldn’t be showing her this picture.

I respect dedicated athletes who work hard and sacrifice to achieve their goals. What I don’t respect is someone like the thing in that picture who has gone beyond dedication and has become so obsessed that she has drugged and trained herself into some kind of mutant.

Unfortunately that’s how you win bodybuilding trophies. Ronnie doesn’t exactly have my ideal physique but it sure did take a lot of work/preparation/planning to get to where he is.
