Missed a couple of entries so will just fast forward. Finished 2/3 weeks of the second BBS cycle. Lifts have seen major shifts due to re-balancing corrections from the fysio. Can now properly push through my left side which has improved stability immensely, especially during the squat now that my foot pressure is working correctly.
However, there was also a problem with the hip; One hip bone was higher than the other due to posture issues. I also had an underactive piriformis muscle on the right side. This caused an strange gait on the right foot sorta slams down into the ground during walking. I got some initial adjustments for that the next week. This actually messed up my squat a bit, so I think I will have to lower the TM a bit to readjust. There are also more adjustments that needs to be made here so I will take it bit by bit.
We will resolve the imbalances in my body over a 10 week period. Itās a bit chaotic now to synchronize both the feet and the hip changes so lift form is all over the place.
Bench sets felt all over the place. I got the new feet position right most of the time which enabled me to finally use leg drive properly! (After all these yearsā¦)
However, I could not get the hip placement correctly. After the last fysio session it became clear that they are a bit unevenly tilted. Did not get it right at the first sets, especially during the 95kg set which I bothed a bit. But later on I think I started to get the hang of it.
Also tried to find a good hip placement one the one leg RDL ( which I think is a good exercise to stabilize the hips and glutes ) but I struggled a bit on the right side. We will probably focus on the hip a bit more in the next fysio session so that should improve.
Started to think on the next anchor. Will probably be FSL just as last time. I liked it.
The fysio adjustments paid off for deadlifts; Getting a better position in the left side.
Each sessions gives improvements in posture and form so now itās just a matter of riding it out and keep going. Not worth thinking to about it too much.
Got some more hip adjustments on the day before that put me in a different position during the press. Not used to the movement pattern so got really weak during the lifts. Probably have to back down during the next cycle.
Practiced some squats in the end, felt quite good. But not quite used to the new position yet.
Session went so-so. Squat form is improving but I am not used to the new movement and bracing pattern of the new position. Got some films and will work with fysio.
Only got a single good rep with the last set, collapsed with the core. So will probably back of 10kg of training max during next cycle.
The postural changes is making it easier to drive on the left side now. Looking forward to see where the bench will go once the fysio period is over : )
Starting a anchor cycle using FSL. After this I will try to test some new maxes. Fysio is giving corrections for each session that makes everything a little bit better.
Felt a bit strange to bench after the spine correction. Did 4 reps on the bench on the top set and felt I have 3 reps left. But it is better now than before so I am confident that I will get the form soon.
