I think there are just many younger people on the site than there used to be, also, seems to be many non-trainees.
I look in all the forums and laugh alot, but don’t post too much. I’ve been looking on this site since 01, and many a things have changed. Still a great free site, and my home board though.
Monopoly
I think the worst of it would be the people who really aren’t serious at all who feel the need to make everyone realize that they are people too.
I really don’t care about the people on this site who barely lift regularly and complain anytime someone recommends that a poster should gain some more size. We then get hit with 30 posts about how great it is to be skinny and how they do look like they lift if you compare them to the Hilton sisters. [/quote]
It comes across in 75% of the posts that people are posting to post. They make little to no effort to educate themselves. They are ‘stereotypical’ x,y,and dig. age groups who feel they are entitled. Work hard and investigate–Hell no!. Just ask how you can drop a quick 20 lbs of fat off your 175lb frame in 2 weeks because spring break is coming up. Gotta show them awesome abs, dude.
I mean, how many creatine questions can someone possibly come up with. 3-5grams after workout should suffice by the way.
I used to post much more frequently, but replying to the same questions got to be ridiculous. Then, you take the time to reply to someone who by the nature of their question, has little experience or knowlege in the field, and they blast you for your response and blow you off.
I enjoy the info, and truly enjoy many of the posters. Their style. Their wit. Their knowlege. BUT, the site does seem to have been taken over by a ‘neo’ class of people who bring little to the table except for bad typing, bad grammar, poor sense of humor, and a fair lack of common sense.
