Seriously, though for cheap entertainment value some of these songs were pretty fun.

ROFL nothing really happened since then. Everyone found out Rick Ross used to be a Correctional Officer but it didn’t matter because he learned how to rap all of a sudden. That’s it.
Snap Music, Jerk Music, Chopped and Screwed, Crunk, and probably a few more I’ve missed. I don’t see how LL Cool J survived for 20 plus years in the game.

For the record screwed and chopped music has been around since the early 90’s. It’s something indigenous to Houston that leaked out to the rest of the country. If you’re not from here, or never sipped lean or puffed on a swisher doing absolutely nothing productive while jamming screw you probably won’t get it. The rest of that shit is garbage.
