Bobzan, who the fuck are you?
No, don’t respond. I have no interest in what you’d have to say. Go post your gay-ass cartoons on another thread.

I m going to stop arguing for awhile as Im noticing Im starting to attack more than support my argument here and that no one here as shown me any statistic to support their downtrodden save my poor ass arguments. How about your family, how about your Church, how about your local community, how about your local…jeez, no the federal government should come in and wipe your ass. How about you go get another job, how about in a different field. Life has a lot of risk and no matter how much the gov coddles you it doesnt take it all away. Its this line of thinking that has ephedra banned, pro hormones banned, and you dont even realize it. Its your risk. You chose that line of work, or maybe the government should come in and tell you what career field to go into so that they can ensure your safe.
I guess the phrase “keep on trucking” just doesnt apply. No I dont believe you that you couldnt afford to eat, you could have gotten two jobs for 8 bucks an hour, relocated to a different city but you know what, I bet you wanted a career in the same damn profession and didnt want to take a pay cut. Im a heartless bastard so is the glorious cycle of life. I want my risk and when I lose my job and find myself slugging it away at a $5.00 an hour job digging ditches, you know Ill do, I ll grab myself by the bootstraps and keep on keepin on. But, Ill be damned to let people argue that the Constitution somehow supports this,
WHICH BY THE WAY NO ONE HAS YET TO ARGUE…ITS ALL BEEN EMOTIONAL BOOHOO.
JUST WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE GAP BETWEEN THE “RICH” AND THE “POOR”
anyway?
Here are some hardcore stats for those of us that are so evil on the downtrodden…
1)During the 1980’s and EVIL REAGAN, Charitable donations shot up 30 percent, why, because people had more disposable income.
2) The question here is not whether we should help those who, through no fault of their own, cannot cope. The question is how?
JUST WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE GAP BETWEEN THE “RICH” AND THE “POOR”
anyway?
The larger the better. An increasing gap between the rich and the poor indicated a growing economy.
The rich are rich because they make the right decisions, and the poor are poor because they make poor decisions. Generally.
Hmm, you can’t be talking to me, because your post is discussing things that I certainly am not expecting the government to do.
However, if you’ve been earning big wages and are reduced to $5.00 an hour in your 30’s or 40’s with only manual labour available to you – you’d better hope you don’t have debts to service, health issues interfering with ditch digging, or that you aren’t divorced and can’t expect your spouse to help cover the bills while you find something else.
Sure reality is harsh, and if, like me, you are lucky enough to have serious education and experience, through good choices for an entire lifetime, then you can recover on your own.
What about people who are born poor, go to schools and live in neighborhoods where they worry about staying alive instead of learning? What chance do they have, withing the boundaries of legal opportunities, to get the hell out of there? Sure, it does happen, but it needs to happen more often.
This reason isn’t because I have a fucking bleeding heart either! The reason is that these people are the ones sucking up all the government money. They do it by not contributing and paying their own fair share. They don’t make the wages. They don’t pay the taxes. They may or may not incur a lot of police services, medical services and so on.
There are good monetary reasons to make it easier for people to get the hell out of being poor. So what if some folks may take a bit more help than others to do so… its worth it financially to make it happen. Now, how does it happen without socialism?
That is the thing you should be thinking about. These people cost you money and tax. How can you make them pay more taxes so the burden is lower for all of us?
Don’t you get it? It’s not just better for them, its better for your narrow minded self too if those lazy bums who make bad choices, are unlucky enough to have useless parents or live in the worst neighborhoods are also given the tools to succeed.
Use your mind for more than your range of motion endpoint for skull crushers…
Bobson…shitty…funny, but shitty!
Heres the freakin problem with socialism, it doesnt work, and you still havent answered a single question.
DOES ANYBODY ELSE REALIZE HE HASNT ANSWERED A SINGLE QUESTION YET?
IM NARROWMINDED, excuse me for using the document that dictates our laws and actions in this country. But in all honesty, I thought just like you for a long time. But it doesnt make it ---->constitutionally right<----
Thats important.
Yes lazy sobs waste tax money, but government is not the only answer, there is little and usually not any accountability within government. The bigger the gov, the harder it is to get accountability. Where does the buck stop? It doesnt. The department of ed can continue to misplace millions and no one can really say anything.
Is it so hard to believe that govt isnt the only answer, that privatization is more effective than any govt program can ever hope…Im starting to wonder if you are just eggin me on.
Since you have it figured out and Im narrowminded for believing there is a better answer what is the appropriate amount of “socialism”…give me the percentage. Where will people still want to give it their best and not be discouraged by taxation? Give me a statsitic that proves socialization is working, that welfare is working, that DARE is working, that regulating the airlines worked, for CHRIST sake anything. Or, I can save you the trouble there are not really any. I wish there were. I wish people would try hard even when they would get nothing to show for it. But, we dont. There has to be something to work for. If you put a “cap” on how much we can succeed, there is no AMERICAN DREAM ANYMORE. IT DOESNT EXIST.
There are tons of examples of people who rise beyond their hardships to succeed. Inner city kids, poor kids, you know what, “we” dont want your condescension you narrowminded SOB, we want your respect. We can succeed and do. Pity…it does me a lot of good. So do your social programs. Give me liberty. Real liberty, I dont want to make it big just to have someone tell me I cant keep what I earned even if its a U-haul box in an alley in Brooklyn. Its MY freakin U-haul box and you can pry it from my cold dead hands.
No its not black and white, the government isnt the only solution. In fact, its (statistically speaking) probably the worst solution but Democrats and new age Republicans seem to think its the only solution, o the village mentality, notice the village isnt a nation but a village.
Somebody has asked me questions?
Anyway, I can’t see why you think I’m rooting for socialism when I keep saying find a way to do it without socialism…
“Avg price of a home in Manhattan has reached 1 Million dollars!”

“make it big just to have someone tell me I cant keep what I earned even if its a U-haul box in an alley in Brooklyn. Its MY freakin U-haul box and you can pry it from my cold dead hands.”
You’ll be lucky not to pay rent in that alley. Brooklyn ain’t far behind Manhattan, in 5-10 yrs it’ll be the same thing.
MillerTime, you are correct that the larger the gov’t is, the less accountability. But the fact that you would even bring up the Dep’t of Ed as an example is horrible. USe Dep’t of Defense, and Dep’t of Agriculture before you go there.
The dept of Ed is “UNCONSTITUTIONAL” therefore it is a great example. You are right though, there is a lack of accountability at all levels, and the bigger we get the worse it gets. And you know, its really not party oriented its “Careerism” to steal a quote from a great legistator-- Tom Coburn. Politicians dont go back to the farm, practice, business, etc. anymore.
Paying rent in the alley…thats funny and sad. I havent looked it up yet, but intend to. Its too funny not to be real.
