I think the bigger question is WHY on earth were you visiting Oprah.com

While browsing the TV, I saw the topic and it interested me. I have been plagued with health issues in the past and it struck a cord with me, not to mention I saw my father die a miserable death from bladder cancer. Do you have any other questions for me?

hey, this is great news,i’m going back to drinking, gonna order me up a new liver first.

I believe he said as a joke and not to insult you. No need to bring up depressing facts about yourself.

May your father R.I.P

If i was insanely rish i would have tons of surgury done on me to enlarge my ribcage, to make room for extra organs from kidnapped people. and have like 4 kidneys 6 lungs and shit. an dhave my ribcage made of steel.

and take the people i kidnapped and stole organs from, put them in a basement with their ankles tied to their wrists, with a strobe light that was on all day like G-bay, and play nothing but Desert Rose by Sting really loud. they would have nothing to eat but tons and tons of sundried tomatoes laying all over the floor that they have to peck like a chicken, and their eyes would be pried open like clockwork orange and a bubble machine would constantly have bubbles floating in the air that pop against their open eyes but they cant see them coming because of the strobe light.

Good news for fat people.

oh disregard that last post guys

LOL

I’ll take an extra penis so I can have Vaginal and Anal intercourse AT THE SAME TIME.

Actually, I’ll take 3 extra ones, that way I can DP a chick anally and vaginally AT THE SAME TIME.

I should clarify.

There is an incredible amount of unused land in the world.

The same people that are worried about overpopulation are the people worried the world is going to melt.

[/quote]

I agree, there is plenty of unused land in the world. That’s not the issue.

The issue is how much of that land is arable. Land that can be used to farm, grow crops, support live stock for slaughter, etc. There is a finite amount of arable land on the planet. At some point, that arable land would reach it’s max output of food(meat, vegetables, grain, etc.) We are a long time away from that, but if people in the industrialized world start living to 120-130, we would see an incredible population boom and could start creeping up on that max output.

I’m not worried about the earth melting due to global warming. The earth goes through cycles, just like a woman.

I like the way you think, formerfatboy. I’m also glad to hear you are no longer fat.

I want another pair of pecs over my pecs and more guads,And throw in more lower back muscles.Supersize

You forgot to point out that he failed to include the inevitable crux of the “Overpopulation/Pollution/Ozone-Layer/Global Warming is a Myth” crowd’s line of thinking:

“God would never allow it!”

Deus ex machina thinking. It’s worse than circular logic.

God would never allow Earth to be overpopulated, too many greenhouse gases to build up, xenoestrogens and other toxins to build up in our food and water supply, the oceans to be overfished, the forests overlogged, the farmland depleted…

Just like God prevented the Natives from being slaughtered, the rise of Naziism, the Holocaust, Pearl Harbour, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, The USSR and the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam, The Gulf War, 9/11, Iraq II…

Oh wait, “God” didn’t stop ANY of those things, so what makes Evangelicals with no background in the sciences whatsoever so confident that “God” would not “allow” us to screw up our own planet?

well…

There is only a limited number of resources on the planet. Eventually, there will be things that we run out of.

Millions of people are starving every day already. What will happen when the average life expectancy shoots up to 120-130 years? The planet is already on track to being over populated. Think what will happen if the population doubles with people living twice as long…

the matrix. infants ingesting liquefied humans. recycling nutrition. be very very afraid…

Two pages and no one caught the fact that you’ve already got two adrenal glands. Stick to algebra.

I saw this recently on the news…I didn’t know that it was spoken of before. The idea that amputated fingers, organs, skin, bone etc could be regrown is fantastic. Imagine the accident victims, those who are suffereing internal organ failure and those who are or have suffered from cancer that may have damaged one or more organs that need replacing. This would eliminate wasteful health insurance spending, cure many chronic diseases, and resolve the limiting disabilities of losing a limb(s) finger(s), toe(s) etc. As I said I saw this on PBS and the work being done at the MCGOWAN INSTITUTE…video here

Wow, great way to bring God into this thread and argue with yourself. Just to make a point, God gives us free will and thus allows us to make our own choices, which could include overpopulating.

…Which is why saying that your god, “your” not directed at playmaker just your in general, won’t let these things happen is a wrong assumption.

Great way to validate ElbowStrike’s original argument.
